Even in the field of personal appearance, scientists embarked on crafting robots that closely resembled their owners, addressing the issue of loneliness by providing a customized and empathetic companion.

These robotic companions could assume various roles, such as construction assistants, trend-savvy party guests, survival experts for camping trips, or even whimsical figures like dinosaurs or mythical creatures. While robots exhibited the capacity to adapt, learn, and perform tasks, the concept of true friendship with machines remained a subject of debate. Aristotle's definition of friendship as a partnership of equals highlighted the challenge of achieving genuine companionship with robots.
