This story takes place long time ago in a world similar to our own. However in this world many mythical creatures and supernatural beings dwell upon its surface. It tells of a forbidden love in a twisted place between two people named Jinx and Felix.

Chapter 1: Village in the Forest

Jinx was half human half fairy. She was three-feet tall and seven hundred and three years old. Jinx was pale, curvy, had pointed ears and long silky white hair. Jinx always wore garments that she would stitch together herself using miscellaneous materials collected from the forest that surrounded her village.

Today Jinx planned on adventuring deep into the forest to collect some weeds for a project she was working on. She planned to bring her pet hogbeet along with her. A hogbeet is a large beetle like creature with two tusks similar to a warthog near it snout. As Jinx was placing a sattle upon her hogbeet a voice from behind called out to her “hey Jinx!”, she looked up to see Felix standing a few feet away.

Felix was half fairy half elf and he was the villages tiniest warrior. He was skinny, short and had soft grey-coloured skin. He had jet black hair that always covered his eyes. Felix was wearing a rose coloured wardrobe which Jinx had stitched together for him herself. “Hey! How’s it going?”, she replied. “Great! Guess what?”,Felix enthusiastically asked. “What?”, Jinx inquired. She began securing the sattle in place ontop of her hogbeet. “I heard that there is a full moon tonight and was wondering if you wanted to come collect some moon water with me down by the river?”. Felix and Jinx both looked at each other. Feeling flattered by his invitation she slightly blushed and said “I would love to Felix! I will come find you after I get back from the forest!”.

After their brief interaction she climbed upon her hogbeet and started making her way through the village. She admired the beauty of the things around as she rode underneath and in between houses that were built into the treetops above her. Below them were small stands filled with miscellaneous objects and supplies that the villagers would collect to share with each other, and ladders leading up to the treetops. In the middle of the village was a path that led the way out of the village and towards the river. Along the path were wooden pillars spaced evenly apart that were decorated with lanterns and covered in vines yielding different plants that the villagers would often harvest from. Many of the villagers looked up in her direction and smiled towards her as she rode past them. Each wore garments similar to her own stitched together from similar materials. As Jinx exited the village she looked back to eat the beauty one last time. “We have a long day ahead of us,” she said to her hogbeet, “I hope your ready!”. Jinx’s hogbeet let out a small snort. She gave it a small pet on the head and they began venturing together deeper into the forest. As they got further away the grass around got taller and it began to flatten under the hogbeets weight leaving a small trail of its presence behind.

Chapter 2: The Forest

The forest was home to many fascinating sights, sounds and things to discover. Some of them just as dangerous as they were enchanting. Many monstrous creatures and poisonous insects lurked within its depths. The sun shone down on Jinx and her Hogbeet as it led her further from the village. When they were about three yards away and deep in the trees a swarm of venomwasps began to surround them. Venomwasps are wasp like creatures that have a proboscis similar to a mosquitos, however they inject a lethal venom while feeding on its prey. “Looks like we ran into a nest,” Jinx said to her Hogbeet. Immediately Jinx spread her fairy wings and jumped into the air. She placed her hands together and started to recite an ancient spell under her breath. A blue aura surrounded her body. Sharp claws extracted from her fingernails. In an instant she charged towards the closest attacker. She dug her claws into its face and ripped it in half then flew over to the next opponent. One by one each venomwasp began to drop as she flew towards them and tore each of them to shreds. As the last one dropped she retracted her claws and gently flew back over to her Hogbeet. She placed herself back ontop of it and they continued on their way through the forest.

Meanwhile in the village Felix was preparing to collect moonwater with Jinx. He was washing some jars out at the village fountain when he was interrupted by a push from behind. The jar slipped out of his hands and smashed on the ground below. Felix looked over to see Mack the strongest warrior in the village and Felix’s bully. Mack was four feet tall and was a fairy. He had light green skin and was heavily built. He had short blonde hair and his face was covered in dark stubble, his eyes were purple and all the local woman drooled over him, except for Jinx. “What was that for?”, Felix said to him. “Cause I don’t like you.” Mack replied, “I saw you asking Jinx on a date earlier, just so you know she’s my girl and if you think your anything more than friends I’m going to have a problem with you, got that?” Mack patted him hard on the back and walked away towards a group of lady’s who were looking over at him. “What a jerk.” Felix mumbled under his breath. Mack’s ears slightly twitched as the words left his mouth. He looked back at Felix for a second then continued on his way. Felix reached down beside him to grab another jar and began washing it.

Jinx was now far enough into the forest that the weeds she was looking for grew in abundance. She grabbed from a variety of different plants as her hogbeet rode past them and shoved them into a pouch that she kept tied to its saddle. Suddenly the ground below started to shake. A large troll like monster covered in dirt and moss pulled itself out of the ground from behind a tree directly in front of them. It stood at least fourteen-feet high and towered like a giant. In an instant it swatted at the tree knocking it over like a domino and causing a gust of wind to throw Jinx off her Hogbeet. The creature grabbed towards the Hogbeet with one of its long arms and the hogbeet let out a squeal. In a flash the creatures arm dropped to the ground and it let out a monstrous roar which shook the world around them. Jinx flew towards it with her claws once again extracted. The creature grabbed for her with its other arm, missing her by inches. She ran along side it then jumped towards the throat of the beast. She pierced through its neck and out the other side. She then turned back and sent a wave of energy through her hands that disintegrated the monster in a beam of light. She then fell to the ground weakened from her attack. Jinx’s hogbeet went over to where she landed and nudged her with its cold snout. She pulled herself up onto its saddle and slowly they headed back towards the village. The sun was starting to set and Jinx reached into her pouch for one of the plants she had picked earlier. She bit off small pieces of it at a time and gradually started to recover some energy. The forest became pitch black at night and the most dangerous creatures would lurk within the underbrush when the moon was out. Jinx knew her only chance of survival was to make it back to the village before nightfall and she was still quite a distance away.

Chapter 3: Felix’s secret

Back at the village Felix was done washing jars. He realized how late it was getting and decided to venture off into the forest in Jinx’s direction to make sure she returned home safely. He placed a small box of jars off near a stand underneath his house and started to make his way out of the village. He continued along a small trail in the grass left behind by Jinx’s hogbeet. Felix brought a lantern with him and a sword for protection, which he kept in a sheath that was buckled to his side. When he was about a three yards away from the village he noticed a pile of venomwasp remains scattered on the ground around him. “Looks like Jinx must have come through this way,” he said to himself. He continued following the trail left behind in the grass by Jinx’s hogbeet. Macks presence remained unknown to him as he followed Felix deeper into the forest in an attempt to stop him from rescuing Jinx. “I thought I told you to stay away from Jinx!”, a voice shouted from behind Felix. He gazed back to see Mack headed in his direction with clenched fists. “C’mon Mack you know how dangerous it gets out here at night time, I’m just trying to make sure she gets home safe.” Felix said to him. “Your excuse isn’t good enough.” Mack replied. He then swung a fist at Felix. He dodged the attack and swung back at Mack. Mack grabbed his hand and began to crush it. Felix laughed at the feeling of pain and brushed the hair out of his face with his other hand. They both locked eyes for the first time and stood there motionless. Felix pulled his hand back away from him and then continued on his way.

Deeper in the forest Jinx was headed towards Felix’s direction. The sun was almost down and her vision was becoming obstructed by the dark. Her hogbeet was becoming tired from the long walk and started walking slower from exhaustion. Jinx decided it would be easier to carry him. She jumped off and picked him up with her right hand, lifted him up above her and continued walking. Without warning a loud screech filled the air. A large bat like creature with razor sharp teeth and a long tail hovered in the air above Jinx and her hogbeet. It flew down and grabbed the hogbeet from her grasp. It let out a loud yelp as it was devoured in one gulp. Jinx was horrified to the core. A large snake then slithered past her side and grabbed the tailed bat from the air. She looked around as more creatures of the forest started to surround the night. Jinx spread her wings and flew up into the sky above the trees. More tailed bats filled the air and chased in her direction. In the distance she could see Felix’s lantern glowing. As she drew closer Jinx realized that Felix was engaged in combat. He was fighting with a group of mysterious shadowy figures when she landed next to him. The beasts chasing her drew near. Felix placed his lantern on the ground and they stood with their backs together facing the darkness around them.

Jinx woke up and looked around. Remains from creatures the night prior lay scattered in the field surrounding her. Felix’s body laid motionlessly next to her. “Felix?”, Jinxed reached over and began to shake him. “Felix?”. His body rolled towards her and she let out a gasp. He was covered in bite wounds and scratch marks. She brushed Felix’s hair out of his face then placed her hand on his neck to check for a pulse. There was none. Felix’s eyes opened. She brought her hand back towards herself and they laid there staring at each other.

Chapter 4: Mack’s Revenge

Meanwhile at the village Mack was scheming his revenge on Felix for taking Jinx away from him. As he walked past Felix’s stand he kicked a box of jars breaking a couple. The smashing sound filled the air and one of the villagers called out their window “what’s all the ruckus?”. “Felix is a ghost!”, Mack called out.

Immediately all the villagers started looking outside and gathering around Mack. He began telling them about his altercation with Felix in the woods. The group surrounding him opened up and the village leader walked towards him. “Is what you say true?”. The village leader was purple, tall and heavy. He had a long white beard and wore a helmet made of tree branches. His eyes were a deep green, above them where two thick and stern looking eyebrows. He carried with him a golden sceptre with a blue crystal encrusted on its tip. Mack met his gaze “I saw it myself! Felix possessed me in the forest and then went running off after Jinx!”. The village leaders purple skin turned red and he slammed his sceptre on the ground causing it to quake below them. “There is no way my daughter is frolicking off in the forest with the likes of a ghost!”.

In the forest Felix was carrying Jinx in his arms, walking along a stream in direction of the river. A large snake slithered past them in the distance. Sounds of nature filled the atmosphere as they continued. Large bird-like creatures flew in the skies above and more creatures of the forest began to reveal themselves underneath the light of the sun. Many resting in shade and within the trees surrounding them. Felix kept walking and hit a sudden cliff in the forest. He looked below and could see the river in the distance. The large snake following them slithered closer and Felix jumped up onto its back. It began to carry him down the cliff with Jinx. In moments the snake slithered down the rocky terrain and delivered them safely to the bottom. Felix hopped off the snake then it slithered away and followed them in the distance.

As Felix drew near the rivers edge water extended up onto the shore and receded back into its depth. Jinx looked out onto the waters as he carried her. Sunlight gleamed on its surface and small waves danced in the distance. When Felix got to the edge of the river he knelt down and dipped Jinx into it. The waters brushed against her and washed her wounds. Her long silky white hair flowed gracefully in the currents. She looked up at Felix. Unexpectedly, an enchanted arrow made of fire landed into the ground next to them followed by more. Felix looked behind him. Laying on the ground just a few metres away was the dead body of a giant snake. He laid down Jinx and withdrew his sword. On the other side of the snake stood the people of the village led by Mack and their leader.

As he looked at them an arrow fell from the sky and pierced through Jinx. She let out a loud scream. Felix’s body dropped to the ground. The waters of the river began to rise and take the shape of him. Mack started running towards Jinx as the villagers watched fright. The leader of the village bashed his sceptre on the ground sending out a pulsing wave of energy and the waters went still. Mack bent over Jinx and pulled the arrow from her. She let out a small cry of pain. “Are you alright?” Mack asked her. She remained speechless and her eyes slowly closed. He picked her up and walked towards the other villagers. They then began making their way back to the village.

Chapter 5: Hollow

After the villagers left the riverside Felix’s body resurrected. He ran over to the giant snake and fell down crying. A few minutes later he stood back up walked and walked over to its head. He brushed the hair out of his eyes and looked into one of the snakes eyes. The snakes body came back to life. He climbed on top of it then it took him back into the forest.

At the village Jinx was resting. She had bandages over her wounds and Mack stood by her bedside. He looked out the window as the sun was going down. “I didn’t ask for you to come rescue me.” Jinx said to Mack in a silent voice. “You know ghosts are dangerous I was just doing my service for the village.” Mack responded. Jinx looked away from him and out the window behind were he stood. She looked up at the sky it was purple, pink and orange coloured. The sun kissed the surface of the earth as it was setting. The moon slowly said hello as it peaked out and shone above the forest. She thought about Felix and drifted off to sleep.

When Jinx woke up the world felt different. She felt hollow inside and had to force herself to breath because her body stopped doing it naturally. Everything around her was surrounded by a soft white glow. Jinx felt strange and dizzy. Mack was snoring on a chair next to her bedside when she heard voice “Jinx”, she looked around but couldn’t see anybody in the room with her other than Mack. Jinx was slightly startled. “Jinx, can you hear me? It’s Felix.”. “Felix? Where are you?” She responded. “I’m in the forest, I gave you some of my powers so I could talk to you.”, Jinx was surprised. She wanted nothing more than to be with Felix but now that the villagers knew he was a ghost it would be next to impossible. “Felix I love you.” She said back to him. Felix remained silent for a few moments. Jinx laid in her bed. She watched Mack sleep in the chair next to her. “Meet me in the forest after midnight.”, Felix told her. The soft glow faded and Jinx felt normal again. Mack opened his eyes. He stretched out his arms and let out a big yawn. Jinx looked away from him. “Good morning Jinx.” He said to her. “Good morning Mack.” she said in a plane voice. “Are you feeling better today?”, he asked as he stood up and opened a window. Jinx asked Mack to get her some water and rolled the other way. He subjected to her request and started to walk towards the door, “please” she added. Mack left the room.

Chapter 6: Separated

In the forest Felix was intersected with a hive of venomwasps. He let the wasps attack him. They injected their proboscis’s into him and deposited their lethal venom into his body one after another. He kept walking as it nothing was happening around him, looking down at the ground below his feet. “This is life without Jinx.”, he thought to himself. The snake with him ate the attacking venomwasps one by one as he continued. He entered into an open field in the forest and gazed into the sky above him. A giant bird hovered in the sky above, drawing closer to his whereabouts. He jumped onto the back of his snake and tried to find cover to escape its scope. However, the bird scouted them in the distance and came down at them. It grabbed the snake with giant talons that ripped into the sides of its body, and flew high into the sky with Felix still attached to the top of it. He drew out his sword as they flew in the sky. A gust of wind knocked Felix off balance and he fell off the back of the snake and towards the ground beneath. He closed his eyes as he fell. When his eyes opened he was laying on the ground. He stood up and brushed himself off. A couple tears fell from his cheeks and he sighed. Felix kept walking with his head down through the forest towards the wall of a cliff. When Felix arrived at the face of the cliff he grabbed at small rocks covering its body and pulled himself upwards towards the top of it. As he climbed the terrain a strong wind started to form and grey clouds began to roll in from the distance. He reached the top of the cliff just as it started to rain. Loud bangs of thunder shook the earth around the forest and flashing bolts of lightning lit up the air. Felix sat at the edge of the cliff and watched the storm.

Meanwhile at the village some of the villages warriors were gathered together at the leaders tree hut and they were having a discussion about how to solve the ghost problem. “Felix is a threat to our people!”, one shouted out, “he is dangerous!”, another said. Jinx eavesdropped on them from her bedroom and awaited the perfect moment to sneak away. The leader assured them of their safety and they began sharing ideas on what to do. As they talked Jinx snuck through her window and flew off into the forest to find Felix. The rain pelted down heavily on her as she flew and the strong wind made it hard for her to keep direction. She flew to the river and waited under a tree for Felix.

Chapter 7: Look out

Over time the storm died down and the evening sky showed itself from underneath the clouds. A rainbow formed in the skies canvas above the water. Jinx continued to wait. She came out from beneath the tree she was standing under and sat on a rock close to the rivers shore. She ran her fingers through her hair and admired the beauty before her. The sky was dark purple. She looked at the rainbow comprised of many shades as it expanded over top of the rivers clear blue waters. The moon hovered in the distance and small specks of light surrounded empty space in the sky around it. The water glistened underneath and small waves crashed in its pools. The air smelled of fresh rainfall and a soft cool breeze touched the surface of things. Her head felt clear and she took a deep breath. She continued waiting for Felix until nightfall. As she was watching the view a shuffling noise came from the distance behind her. She turned her head to see Mack walking towards her with a torch in his hand. “Jinx! The villager have been worried sick about you!”, “go away Mack.” She said to him. “I’m fine.”. “Your father demands your presence in the village.” Mack replied. He grabbed Jinx by her arm and they walked together back to the village.

Felix remained to sit motionlessly at the cliffs edge until the sun came up. When morning came Felix dropped off the edge and plummeted to the ground below. When he hit the floor he stood up and brushed himself off. “This is life without Jinx.”, he said to himself. He walked with his head down and headed deeper into the forest. Felix kept walking until he came to a bridge. The bridge led to a village Felix never seen before. He began crossing the bridge when he met paths with an elf who was riding ontop of a hogbeet, headed across the bridge in the opposite direction. “What brings you to the village?”, a kind spoken voice asked from above. He looked up to see an old female elf dressed in blue robes. She had pointed ears and light green skin. She had pink hair and her eyes were covered by long bangs. Judging by appearances that they both had shared an unspoken gift they continued on their way past each other and Felix entered the village. To his dismay, upon arriving to the village body’s of villagers were laid out in the streets and the aftermath of chaos wreaked havoc on their community. Tears fell from Felix’s eyes and he fell to the ground crying. He let out a loud scream. He stood up and withdrew his sword then ran back in the direction of the elf who had passed him.

Chapter 8: Fire

Felix arrived back at the bridge. He saw the lady elf riding her hogbeet in the distance. He went to cross the bridge and a jolt of energy sent him flying backwards. He got up walked to the foot of the bridge. An invisible wall blocked the path and prevented him from crossing. Felix held onto his sword and tried to slice through the wall but a force of energy crawled up his sword then erupted sending him backwards. He stood back up and called out to the lady “wait!”, but the lady kept riding. The silhouette of her figure slowly vanished in the underbrush as she traveled away deeper into the forest. On the other side of the bridge a small moth like creature with an extra set of wings landed on a weed growing out of a crack in the ground.

Jinx was in the village near the fountain. She splashed cold water onto her face then looked up. A thick cloud of smoke started to fill the air. The smell of fire surrounded the forest around her village. In the distance red flames started to light up the world. Mack and a few of the village warriors ran past Jinx, into the forest, and in the direction of the fire. A small moth landed near Jinx. She looked over at the Moth. It flew over to a stand by Felix’s house and she ran over to it. The Moth flew to another stand and Jinx kept following it. It led her out of the forest and deeper into the woods. When Jinx was in the forest she heard a loud cry come from one of the villagers. Followed by several more. The fire in the forest grew bigger and closer to her. The moth led Jinx to a cave in the forest and she hid inside of it. She walked deep into the dimly lit cave, laid on the floor and started crying. The moth landed on her shoulder. Just then Jinx heard the sound of somebody walking outside the cave. “Mack? Is that you?” She yelled out. There was no answer. A hand reached out from the blackness of the cave and grabbed Jinx by her hair. It started to drag her out of the cave. She let out a loud scream. The silhouette of the figure dragging her slowly came to light as they reached the outside of the cave. It was a tall elf lady with long pink hair that covered her eyes and light green skin. She was dressed in blue robes. She smiled down at Jinx as she dragged her across the floor of the forest by her hair. Jinx extracted her claws and chopped her hand off were she was grabbing it. Blood poured out of the elf lady’s arm and she let out a scream. The elf lady grabbed her arm with her other hand. Jinx stood up and she punched the elf lady in the stomach. Her claws tore through the other side and more blood poured from the elf lady’s mouth. Jinx retracted her arm. The elf lady reached for the wound in her stomach then fell to her knees. Jinx kicked her in the face with the bottom of her foot. The elf lady’s body fell flat and laid motionlessly. Heat from the flames behind started to burn the back of Jinx’s neck. She looked behind her. A swirl of fire started to form and it began taking shape of the elf lady. Jinx ran in direction of the river as the flames behind her scorched. The lady in the shape of fire chased after her.

Chapter 9: Survival

Jinx reached the shores of the water and turned around to face the fires behind her. Helpless against the flames she watched as they drew closer. The figure of fire was now metres away. It reached out an arm and sent a ball of fire towards her. She rolled on the ground away from the blast. The fireball traveled straight and dissipated over the waters. Jinx didn’t know what to do. She felt trapped and stranded. She felt scared and mortified. She clung to her life. She thought of her village and the villagers. She thought of Mack. She thought of the fire before her and desperately wanted to see Felix again. Jinx wanted to live. She ran towards the river and swam into its waters. The moth that was on her shoulder flew off and floated above.

As Jinx got further from the land the current got stronger. Her arms became weak and tired. She spread her fairy wings and started flying above the river. She continued flying until she reached the other side of the river and landed on the shores. She looked back to see large grey clouds floating in the distance. She sat there and cried. The moth landed back on her shoulder. After crying she walked to a rock near the shore and laid on top of it. Jinx starred into the sky above her and drifted off to sleep. The sun went down and came up again. After Jinx awoke she scratched her eyes. She let out a small yawn then sat up and looked across the river. Her eyes watered as she had thoughts of her village. Jinx checked for the moth. Her only companion now. But when she checked her shoulder it was gone.

Chapter 10: Re-united

Alone and stranded at the shore of the river, Jinx collected herself and decided to venture into the forest on the other side. She slowly dragged her sore feet across the soft sand of the shores heading towards the trees. She walked into the shade of the forest and kept going until she came across a bridge. On the other side of the bridge was a body laying on the ground. As she got closer it became more clear to her that it was Felix. She came to the foot of the bridge and began to cross it. A jolt of energy sent her flying backwards. Jinx stood up and ran towards Felix. Another jolt of energy sent Jinx backwards and knocked her down. She stood up and began to call out to him. “Felix?”, “Felix?”. Felix’s body remained motionless. She called out to him once more, “Felix?”. As she said his name Felix’s fingers twitched and his body slowly reanimated itself. He stood up and looked across the bridge at Jinx. He walked towards her and stopped at the foot of the bridge. They both stood looking at each other from opposite sides. “There’s an invisible wall stopping me from crossing over to you“ Felix told Jinx. “I know I tried to cross it.” She replied. Jinx told Felix of the elf lady she encountered and about the fire that destroyed her village. She was still unsure of other survivors. She told him she was stranded in the forest on the other side of the river and that’s how she found the bridge. Felix was worried for her. He told her of the village behind him and promised to keep her safe the best that he could. But a wall divided them.

Felix needed to find where the wall ended so that he could cross over to the same side as Jinx. They decided to follow each other along the wall into the forest. As they got deeper into the forest the day got darker and eventually night came. They slept next to each other on opposite sides of the wall and when daylight came again they continued on their way to try and find the ending of the wall.

Chapter 11: Felix’s Message

They continued together along the wall and through the forest. One day while they where walking a red flame lit the forests darkness in the distance behind Jinx. She was scared at the sight. Her and Felix began to run. The flames got bigger and closer to Jinx. She tripped and fell. “Are you ok?” Felix asked her. “Yeah”, she said. She quickly got back up and they kept running until they hit a river. At the river shore stood Mack trying to capture fish in its waters. “Mack!” Jinx called out to him. He looked behind him in surprise. He was thrilled to see her still living and thought he was stranded alone. “Mack there’s fire after us!” She yelled to him. The red flames behind her lit up the sky and the smell of smoke filled the air as she got closer to him. “Felix is on the other side of the wall!” She told him. He looked across the wall to see Felix on the other side running alongside her. She exited the trees and met the shores of the river where Mack stood.

Behind her a swirl of fire started to form and began to take shape of an elf lady’s figure. She ran to Mack and he grabbed her in his arms. Felix’s body dropped to the ground on the other side of the wall. He went motionless. The fire cloaked figure reached out and sent a ball of fire towards Mack and Jinx. Mack turned his back to the blast. It burnt through his shirt leaving a wound in his back. He let out a small cry of pain and held onto Jinx tightly. The waters of the river began to rise. A giant wave formed within its depths. It reached up and out towards the lands. It reached high and towered over the forest then it came crashing down with a great force in front of Mack and Jinx. It rained down on the flames of the forest and washed the fires from the trees. Then gently receded back into the rivers grasp Jinx and Mack remained unscathed by the waves rein of terror as it cleansed the fire before them in the forest.

After the waters receded and the flames went dry Mack lessened his grip on Jinx. They looked around. Jinx ran over the the wall and called out to Felix. “Felix?”. His body slowly reanimated itself and he walked up the the wall.

“I want to be with you more than anything.” She told him. “I am with you.” He responded. “I know but I want you to hold me, I want to touch you and be next to you.” She said to him. Felix was quite. “I can’t cross the wall again.” He told her. “There is no end. Once a ghost a crosses over the wall it can’t cross back again.”. “The lady of fire was a witch and she tricked me into crossing over. I wanted you to follow me to the river so I could show you something.”.

It was now evening and the sun was setting. Felix pointed out over the river. The sky was purple and clear of clouds. The moon was a golden yellow and stars shone brightly over the water. Bird like creatures flew in the distance. The sight was captivating. “I am with you at all times.” He said to her.

“When you got attacked in the forest I was with you, when you heard my voice in the village I was with you, when your hogbeet was devoured in the forest I was with you, when you where guided by a moth I was with you, when the lady of fire attacked you at the cave I was with you. The night of the storm when you sat at the rivers edge and watched a rainbow I was with you. Every time you look up at the sky I am with you. We can’t hold each other in our arms but we can hold each other in our hearts. On this side of the wall is nothing but death. I want you to be happy. I want you to experience things and see things. I want you to enjoy life from your side of the wall without my body next to you.”. Felix’s body dropped to the ground and went motionless. Jinx fell down to the ground and started crying. Mack ran over to embrace her.
