Intelligent Life on Other Planets That Can Reach Us? — Extremely Doubtful

I know what you’re thinking — with billions of planets and stars just the opposite must be true. The universe must be teeming with life.

Life Yes; Intelligent Life Not So Fast

If we found a one cell organism on Mars, the headlines around the world would be life on Mars.

However, it’s a very long distance between singles cells and intelligent life. Let me use our very own history to make my case.

Where Are the Dinosaurs?

An asteroid smacks earth and clouds hide the sun for years and all the plant life that sustained dinosaurs leaves and they stave.

Dinosaurs for all intents and purposes are extinct. Why have they not come back?

It’s been billions of years since dinosaurs roamed the earth. Why have they not returned?

Conditions seem to be favorable. Climate is similar. Plenty of plant life to feast on. Where are the dinosaurs?

They’ve had billions of years to evolve all over again.

Let’s get more recent. The Dodo bird or the Passenger Pigeon? The planet hasn’t had many changes since they passed on so where are they?

They came once why not again?

What If Humans Weren’t Here?

Today’s world climate is sufficient to support human life. If humans weren’t here then bears, horses, cows, birds and bees would run everything.

Just like the dinosaurs — if human life on earth ended what are the chances of it returning? Therein lies my argument against intelligent life on other planets capable of reaching us.

Where Will We Be in a Thousand Years?

Maybe Captain Kirk WILL be traveling all over space at warp speed. Currently the law of physics say space travel is very hard on the human body.

Even going a few hundred thousand miles isn’t good for us.

We don’t like to be weightless and our various organs like it even less.

Conditions For Life

You must admit the human body really is a miracle of evolution. Imagine if dinosaurs had our brains what would that world look like? Really big elevators for one thing.

We have opposing thumbs, vision, hearing, touch, smell, yet humans don’t all look the same. But very similar.

The dinosaurs, Dodo Bird and Passenger Pigeon prove that unless conditions are absolutely perfect in every possible way then humans do not happen and neither does intelligent life anywhere else in the galaxies.

And if somehow human life becomes extinct the odds of it ever returning would be odds you don’t want to chance.

What About All That Stuff in The Sky?

There are UFO sightings somewhere almost daily. But are they really visitors from another planet?

A more reasonable explanation would be us in the future perfecting time travel and coming back just to correct the history books.

If that’s true, then I guess humans will be around for a while.

One thing about UFOs puzzles me. Why the lights on the aircraft? Why would you need lights other than maybe to land somewhere in the dark?

But if you’ve travelled millions of light years to get here, wouldn’t you think they’d be able to land without lights.

No self-respecting alien is going to be flying around at night with lights on over populated areas.

None of those ships in the movie “Independence Day” had lights.

I still feel that intelligent life on other planets is extremely remote because conditions must be absolutely perfect, not just for a couple of years but for extremely long periods of time.
