God created Adam and placed him in Paradise to abide therein, and had it not been for the whisperings of Satan and the descent of Adam to earth, we would have been immortal.

Immortality has preoccupied man since ancient times, as in the Epic of Gilgamesh. The ancient Egyptians also believed in immortality after death, and they mummified their dead and built the pyramids.

In Christianity and Islam, belief in immortality is linked to the concept of an afterlife, where souls are believed to continue to exist in heaven or hell after death. The promise of eternal life is often seen as a reward for living a good life and believing in God.

Below we present some of the different types of immortality:

• Biological (vital) immortality: which is the ability of an organism to live indefinitely without aging or dying.

Man has attempted biological immortality in several ways, including:

1- Stop aging. Scientists are trying to stop aging at the cellular and molecular level using drugs or reverse aging.

2- Through genes and making genetic modifications to long-lived organisms such as jellyfish and turtles.

3- Freezing or restricting calories and intermittent fasting. After studying the survival of some organisms in the winter, scientists concluded that cryogenics, which involves freezing a person's body or head at cryogenic temperatures in the hope that they can be revived in the future, as well as calorie restriction and fasting, leads to an increase in calorie intake. age.

4- Use of stem cells: Research in regenerative medicine aims to repair and regenerate damaged tissues and organs. Stem cells hold promise for their ability to prolong healthy human lifespan.

5- Lengthening telomeres: Telomeres are caps at the end of chromosomes that protect them from damage. As cells divide, telomeres shorten, and eventually the cells cannot divide and die. There are a number of ways to lengthen telomeres, and some of these methods are being tested in clinical trials.

6- DNA repair: Damage to nucleic acids can lead to mutations that can cause cancer and other diseases. There are a number of ways to repair DNA damage.

• Technological immortality: This is the ability of a person to live indefinitely through technological means, such as mind uploading, which is the process of transferring a person’s consciousness to a computer or artificial body.

• Spiritual immortality: which is the belief that the soul or spirit of a person can live after the death of the body. This belief is common in many religions, and is often seen as a means to achieving immortality.

Creating a human specifically for immortality is a concept that falls within the realm of science fiction and moral speculation. Although this may be an interesting idea, it is important to consider the practical and ethical implications of this. Here are some points to consider:

Scientific Feasibility: Currently, the concept of achieving true human immortality is not scientifically achievable. Extending human life and delaying aging is the field of scientific research.

Ethical Considerations: The ethical implications of creating humans solely for the sake of immortality are important and would raise questions about potential overpopulation and resource distribution.

A different quality of life: Immortality raises questions about the quality of life over a long period. It is necessary to consider factors such as physical and mental health, personal fulfillment, social relationships, and the potential for boredom or stagnation in immortal existence.

Ultimately, the issue of whether or not to pursue human immortality is a complex topic and must be debated by society as a whole. However, the fact that this is just a possibility is a testament to the power of human creativity and the potential of technology to change our lives.
