Faith and Failure

Not a pretty picture is it?

This is what happens when you choose faith over the children because God forbid that kids should live a long and happy life so that they can become something better tomorrow.

Sadly, that seldom happens when parents choose blind faith over proper medical treatment, especially now with the Covid-19 virus.

It's not just a bunch of faith-healing garbage that hurts the lives of children. There are many examples out there as to how parents chose to use their "faith" as a justification to indoctrinate their children, thus warping their minds to the point where they become just as bad as their parents, if not worse.

Here are some examples of how faith has created the worst in people.

Ed Gein (Religious nut job parent)

Norman Bates, Hannibal Lecter and Leatherface were inspired by this "man".

His mother was a control-freak religious nut job type, so much so that he never had a woman in his life even after his mother died, which turned him into the freakish serial killer that he was.

When he kidnapped and killed Bernice Worden, he made a big mistake, for her son was the local Sheriff's Deputy.

When investigators came to his house, they found a gruesome sight. So much so that I don't want to mention it myself, so check my source.

This is one example of how deeply faith hurts children. Other examples would the 2000 Jennifer Lopez film The Cell, and the season 2 episodes of Criminal Minds entitled The Big Game and Revelations.

Creationism

While this may not be about beating the bible into your children, it might as well be that bad.

Despite the overwhelming evidence that Evolution from Charles Darwin to Lynn Margulis is true, there are "people" like John Ham that deny it, so much so that not only do they get into arguments with people like Bill Nye, they also fund propaganda films like Matter of Faith, have creationist museums like that of Ark Encounter.

The belief that "God" created the universe 6,024 years is a laughable concept compared to the scientific truth, that the universe was born about 13.8 billion years ago with the Big Bang.

But there are enough idiot parents out there who would rather indoctrinate their children with the notion that every thing began according to the book of Genesis. They also expect taxpayer dollars to go to "Creationist Vouchers" so that the kids can be idiots like their parents.

Anti-Abortions

In Season 2, episode 5 of the TV series Criminal Minds, the parents of a rape victim (who were Catholic) explained how their daughter was impregnated by her rapist and then killed herself because she preferred "sin" of suicide rather than the so-called "sin" of murdering a fetus through having an abortion. An example of how pro-life parents are child abusers.

Another example of pro-life parents being abusive towards their daughters or women, is that they expect them to carry the fetus even if they miscarry.

A third example, is just disowning their pregnant daughter and throwing them out of the house.

Televangelism

As you can this is Joel Olsteen, one among many phony Christians, who expect payment from the congregates to preach the word, but never "actually" preaches the word. Not only that, but these "Christians" live in mansions and have private jets, but have never given a dime of their fortunes to charity

Parents would rather make their children watch and listen to this hypocrisy and delusions of "faith", then some more productive like Sesame Street or Reading Rainbow.

Need I say anything more?

Conservative parents would indoctrinate their children that fighting and dying for Trump, is similar to serving the country. The same is said in service to God, even though they fail to realize that the Church is not the State and Trump is just a phony as a President.

In the End

I may be a Christian myself, but never once did I have the bible beaten into me or was indoctrinated with hate and fear.

I was taught to love my neighbor, do good unto others and live a rich, fulfilling life growing up.

That's how I serve the son of God.
