It has been a over a year since Disney+ stormed onto the scene, they have a ton of things to get Star Wars fans excited on Disney+. Here is a list of some Star Wars content that is currently available on the franchise, as well as what is coming up.

Available Now

1. EVERY Star Wars Film

To start with where it all started, you can find every Star Wars film on the streaming platform right now. If you have somehow never seen the movies, or you want do go for a rewatch marathon, every episode from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker is available to stream right now.

2. The Anthology Movies

Once you get through the main movies’ stories, you may want to go back and see some of the other stories that took place in between the movies, and Disney+ has you covered. Both of the anthology Star Wars movies (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story) are available to watch. Set in-between Episodes III and IV of the main movies, Rogue One and Solo tell the stories of the group of rebels who steal the plans for the Death Star and the story of a young Han Solo respectively. Both are immensely fun to watch and a good extra bit of Star Wars content to give you that Force fix.

3. The Animated Series

If you are looking for the Star Wars deep dive of your dreams, throw these animated series on top of that. The Clone Wars is the fan favorite animated series that tells us what exactly went on during the the Clone Wars, which the vast majority of took place between Episodes II and III. It really does a great job of bathing you in the Star Wars universe, introducing new amazing characters, and elaborating on the fall of the Jedi. Then when you finish that, go straight into Star Wars Rebels. Similarly to Rogue One, Rebels is set between Episodes III and IV and tells the story associated with the birth of the Rebellion. However, this tells the story through the eyes of a Jedi on the run and his new padawan, Ezra. The story is amazing and ties really well into The Clone Wars, the prequel trilogy, and the original trilogy.

4. The Mandalorian

Last, but most certainly not least, is The Mandalorian. The first live-action Star Wars TV show is everything you could want and more. Taking place between Episodes VI and VII, it tells the story of a Mandalorian trying to reunite a child with its people. There are two seasons so far, with more on the way. I won’t say anything else about it besides you should watch it now.

Coming Soon

1. The Book of Boba Fett

There is a ton of new shows coming from the Star Wars universe, but one of the most highly anticipated shows has to be The Book of Boba Fett. Seemingly spinning off of The Mandolorian, The Book of Boba Fett will follow the titular character and he new companion Fennec Shand on their adventures after Episode VI.

2. The Bad Batch

Coming slightly sooner, scheduled to release on May 4, 2021, The Bad Batch will follow a group of experimental clones first introduced in The Clone Wars show. This will take place between Episodes III and IV, and it will show the Bad Batch trying to adjust to the rise of the new Empire.

3. Obi-Wan Kenobi

A highly requested and anticipated show for fans, Obi-Wan Kenobi will give us an in depth look on what old Obi-wan Kenobi was doing between Episodes III and IV. Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role as Obi-Wan, and Hayden Christensen has been announced to appear in the show as Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.

4. Ashoka

Another spin-off of The Mandalorian featuring a fan favorite character, Ashoka will follow the titular character on her adventures after we see her in season 2 of The Mandalorian. It was hinted in Season 2 that she will be on the pursuit of Grand Admiral Thrawn, although this has not been confirmed.

5. The Acolyte

The Acolyte is a series we only know a little about. However, it seems promising. Set during the High Republic era of Star Wars (before the prequel trilogy), it will follow a female lead who seems to be a Sith acolyte, and will go through the fall of High Republic. It seems really interesting, and I can not wait to get our first taste of the High Republic on the screen.

That isn’t all that is coming to the streaming service. There are so many more projects in the works that I couldn’t possibly list them all. Andor, Rangers of the New Republic, A Droid Story, Visions, etc. They all sound amazing, and I am excited for everything on the way. Needless to say, Star Wars fans will have a lot to keep them busy going forward.
