Star Wars hype is in the air. More news is trickling in about the upcoming Disney+ series Ahsoka, and Bryce Dallas Howard was giving us the details. In an interview with Romper, Howard talked about her excitement and her experience being in the Star Wars family and being able to direct episodes of both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. She also went into her love for The Clone Wars animated series. She hinted that there will be plenty for Clone Wars fans to be excited about in Ahsoka.

“Without giving anything away, you are going to love the Ahsoka show that's coming up. I cannot tell you anything, but what I can say is that you being a fan of the Clone Wars will be greatly rewarded.”

Seems like fans of The Clone Wars have a lot to look forward to in Ahsoka. This makes sense given that Ahsoka is one of the main characters of The Clone Wars. For all intents and purposes, there would be connections to this show in particular. Of course, there will also be connections to Rebels, the prequel trilogy, as well as others. Some might call it fan service. On the other hand, a celebration of all the years of animation would be something amazing to see. Perhaps you will see the likes of Rex, Hondo, and others.

It is still fun to speculate just what these sorts of tie-ins might be, and what they could pertain to the rest of the series moving forward. Howard stated that Clone Wars fans “will be greatly rewarded.” What a fun thing to think about. Long-term fans of the animated series will be pleased by it all. It seems their long-term investments are finally paying dividends.

The Mandoverse has had a lot of talent behind it, but none more special than Bryce Dallas Howard. The daughter of legendary director Ron Howard, who himself has been a part of Star Wars directing fame with Solo: A Star Wars Story, has directed episodes of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. All of them are wonderful and unique in their own way. Hopefully, she will be continuing on with Ahsoka, bringing her unique talents to another Disney+ series. Maybe she will one day get to helm her own Star Wars Disney+ series as well like her fellow Mando director Deborah Chow, who will be running the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series this May. As of right now, there is no confirmation that Howard will be directing an episode of Ahsoka.

Every day we get a bit closer to the Ahsoka series and The Mandalorian Season 3. Bryce Dallas Howard will certainly play a major role in this effort. She is will bring her own movie magic to her episodes as she had done in her previous endeavors. She is growing more and more into her own. One can only hope that she will play a role in Ahsoka as well. Her magic along with Filoni’s would make for something really special.

Bryce Dallas Howard is a rising star in the Star Wars galaxy. Her talents are growing with every entry she brings to the universe. Hopefully, she will remain with the Star Wars family for many many years, perhaps even doing something involving featured movies or even the Skywalker saga itself.
