An Intuitive Look at the Fire Signs in Astrology

Fire signs are the active signs of the zodiac. They know how to get things done and inspire others to do the same. They can be leaders or just casual go-getters. Their energy and enthusiasm help lift up other signs who might not be as dedicated on their own. Leave it to a fire sign to rally everyone and lead a group to a victory of some sort. They are natural optimists, some more than others.

I have been an intuitive reader for many years, not an astrology reader. Yet, I love astrology and I noticed that much of the information out there on astrology signs is a little basic. Using intuitive abilities, I took a look at each sign, for a more in-depth look.

There are twelve astrology signs, but for this article, I am focusing on the three Fire signs, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aries. The air, earth, and water signs are all in different articles. 

When reading about signs, start by reading your sun sign but follow up by reading your moon sign and rising signs.

Leo the Attention Lover

All fire signs love attention, but none more than Leo. Leo loves to be in the spotlight, loving praise and compliments. They want to be well-liked and work hard at achieving accomplishments. When a Leo is on they shine like no other, they are superstars hamming it up for their audience. Their feeling is, they are great, and they love to get feedback about just how great they are. 

They extend this greatness to their family. Leo the lion is very family-oriented and will boast proudly of their children's accomplishments. Generous to a fault, they will shower those they love with gifts without a second thought. Very, very loyal they win the loyalty badge out of all the signs in the zodiac, and they deserve it. They are truly genuine about their feelings for those they love. 

Just as Leo shines when praised, if Leo's feelings get hurt, they will retreat into themselves like a lion licking his wounds.

Sweet, over the top, did I mention loyal? This sign is going to let you know when they take a liking to you. They will shower their partners with gifts, attention, love. They are steady in relationships, able to make it long term and then some. They will want to steer the ship but will be open to suggestions along the way. They may be outspoken but their hearts are in the right place.

What might surprise you about Leo

Don't do a Leo wrong, if you do or say something offensive to them, they will be so insulted that they cannot get back the feeling they once had for you.

Sagittarius the Great

Sagittarius dreams of greatness. It is always within the realm of their possibilities. Big picture thinking Sagittarius is able to see the broad strokes so clearly. It's just those pesky details that can bog them down at times. Freedom-loving, obnoxious, fun-loving, and visionary this sign knows how to lift things up to a higher level.

The half-horse, half-person Sagittarius has energy, beauty, charisma that other signs only dream of. They can be very philosophical and insightful. Many are drawn to study and learn vast amounts. Others want to explore and adventure. 

Sag is a warm sign but watch out if you stand too close you might get burned. Sagittarius is fiercely independent. Not quirky independent like Aquarius, but radical solo independence, as in I can be on my own for months and be fine with it.

Sagittarius in love

This is a hard sign to settle down with. They get restless in traditional relationships. Do not try to tell a Sag how to do things, they need to feel they have a lot of space to be who they are. This includes being able to leave at any time. They might have one foot out the door, many suffer from the grass is greener syndrome. 

They can be loving, dedicated, passionate, and amazing for a time but this sign usually finds greener pastures after the experience fades. It isn't to say they can't commit or be in long-term relationships, but they will do best in a non-traditional relationship to be happy. 

What might surprise you about Sagittarius

Even though they tend to make things sound bigger than life, Sag's are one of the most brutally honest signs in the zodiac only falling second to Taurus.

Aries the Active

Whether they are talking, moving their hands, or moving their entire bodies Aries is always in motion. Many make good athletes as such. There is just so much to do and see. They are never short on insights, jokes, ideas for things to go do. Shameless, rarely embarrassed, and not completely against exaggerating a bit like their fire sign cousins Sagittarius.

Aries, the ram, can be very strong-willed. They love to be admired. They want people to like them, to think they are special. They search for acceptance and praise from others. If they get it they can often be very good at what they do. An Aries encouraged can truly do great things. 

This sign, in its evolved state, encompasses strong leadership and integrity. Most Aries have a lot of growing up to do before they can reach that lofty state, however.

Aries in love

Flirty, passionate, Aries usually comes on strong but they can pull it off because they are so charming. They want to make a good impression, it's important to them how their partner thinks of them. They will dedicate themselves to a relationship but make sure you give it back. Aries will move on fast if they feel slighted. They are prone to tantrums so be ready for a lot of fireworks.

What might surprise you about Aries

Many of them are rather shy at first, it can take them some time to warm up. They just need a little encouragement and they'll start talking up a storm.
