Controversial BDSM themes brought to life in this erotic comic as mother and daughter are enslaved..

Comics in the 90s and Millennium were getting a harder sell; especially with the rise of the internet. It's a lot easier for people to grab comics online for free nowadays then pay the expensive prices tagged on them. In the 90s comics needed another selling point and publishers were increasingly targeting adults for sales. Publishers began 'tittilating' audiences with slim, busty women on their comic book covers. This was especially true in Japan who are especially explicit when it comes to their artwork. My own interest was peaked by the seductive front page cover of a 'Tomb Raider/ Witchblade' crossover. The book displayed sexy heroines Sara Pezzini and Lara Croft on the cover not wearing much clothing. This initially got me into the Witchblade series as Tomb Raider was pretty hard to get hold of at the time. Comics have taken a drastic turn in recent years and now are probably the more brutal media than that of television or film. Artists seem to have no problem depicting graphic murder scenes or even nasty rape scenes. It seems more acceptable as there are no real participants in the depiction. This gives the artist free reign in what they put on a piece of paper to be brought to life by the colorist.

Both an eerie and touching scene as mother and daughter banter on holiday.

In the depths of the internet I've managed to find a comic which has a very cult following due to it's sexual nature and decent story. The Fansadox Collection is a BDSM theme comic which regularly depicts women in real life scenarios. For those of you new to this sort of thing it stands for 'bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, sadism and masochism. I have to be honest I'm semi-new to it and only recently came across it. The Fansadox Collection by 'DoFantasy.com' have published many of these comics but one particular artist stands out for his excellent story telling.

An artist simply calling himself Erenisch runs a story where in '2022 all women over the age of 18 are by law slaves of man.'

The decent story has really developed a cult following for Erenisch himself who has his own forum. On the forum you'll find detailed discussions about characters fans are really invested in and would like to see more of. It's amazing especially since Erenisch doesn't seem to have cracked the mainstream yet but this is very encouraging.

The stories themselves are pretty brutal leaving nothing to the imagination; so much so that there is a warning at the beginning of each story stating : 'All characters are 18 years old or older. This is an entirely fictional work based on cartoon characters for adult entertainment.'

Personally I'm not sure if that gets them off the hook with audiences but it emphasises the fact that what's on the page isn't actually happening. In this particular issue titled 'Jenny & Sarah in Family Slave Set' a poor mother and daughter find themselves the unwitting victims of slave traders. To give you a bit of background about how Erenisch stories work; men have enslaved women in society due to their overpopulation. They literally treat them worse than dogs and although not every country has a compulsory slavery law women still find themselves as victims. Sarah and her daughter Jenny are vacationing on a remote foreign island. Unknown to them in a near by town is some of the biggest slave trading corporations, whore-distribution centers, slut-depots, and

woman-exchange centers. The artwork is excellent and reminds me of some of the 90s Judge Dredd panels. Some of the locations could do with a little more detail but obviously the focus is on the females in the comic panels. The story begins with Jenny being bored at their holiday location while waiting for her friend Angie. What's both eerie and erotic in this part of the comic is the nice family exchange between mother and daughter. Sarah clearly cares about Jenny as a mother does and it can be uncomfortable reading at times. Busty Jenny gets a rude awakening while lying in her bikini on the beach. She finds out why Angie is so late as three brutes turn up on the beach with Angie tied up naked. When they arrive on dry land they continue to rape poor Angie who is really been put through her paces. It's really graphic at times but I suppose that's what the BDSM community wants in their graphic novels.

Jenny tries to warn her mother by telephone as one of the brutes scopes the holiday day house. Tragically all three are kidnapped and put through a brutal sex regime at the house. Many readers may find it unsettling as the thugs even have anal sex with the trio. One criticism I have is that they don't need to do as much sex as they do in these comics. I think more story telling could be a bit more entertaining. If someone is reading one of these chances are they are a bit bored of their standard porn. The mother and daughter in the story are subjected to some pretty horrendous treatment. After they have been sexually abused for 3 weeks by the three slavers, they are sold to a type of retailer where their nightmare doesn't end. At one point the mother Sarah is pleasuring 5 guys while asking other patrons not to be so rough with her daughter. The women are basically broken BDSM style and end up referring to themselves as 'this cunt.'

Now it's the mother's turn; Sarah has a rude awakening.

It touches on a lot of fetishes for the BDSM community and obviously makes them come to life in this realistic comic. The novel is available from 'DoFantasy.com' and costs 19.99 Euros. It's a 48 page full color comic and is drawn to a high quality. Personally I think it's going to be a bit too 'graphic' for most tastes but it's readable. I give it 3 out of 5; decent if a bit brutal but they are cartoons.

3 out of 5.
