Read the previous story and see what a good best friend Vic is to Gen even in the middle of her own romantic tryst...

Matt was sitting at the bar, Gen knew him like she had known him for a long time. Well, as far as texting had gone she did know him for a long time.

She adjusted her glasses and he turned right at that moment — instantly recognizing her as well. She smiled as she adjusted her pencil skirt. — she wanted to be the fantasy for him. He had called her “Sexy Librarian,” the first time they messaged on the app and she wanted to be that for him right then. He stood up when she sauntered toward him, Gen liked that because she liked that he was a gentleman.

To be honest, she was so far progressed in her sexting with Duncan that she had not really thought about what Matt was going to be like. Texting him with him was always full of innuendo and she giggled a lot when they interacted. They had gone past “Sexy Librarian,” to texting about work and their lives outside of it.

“You are sexy, I know it is not the first thing that I should say to you when this is the first time that we have met in person but you really are!” He was wearing his glasses as well and when he kissed her cheek she whispered to him:

“I told you from the first time that you never have to be careful with me.” He smiled as he moved away from her and pulled out her seat at the bar. “What are you drinking?” she asked, her shoulder pressed to his. The bartender overheard her and brought the bottle over to her. Gen nodded. “I want a glass as well.”

The bartender opened the bottle and placed a gorgeous wine glass in front of her that he poured a sip of for her to inspect. The smell was redolent of violets and blackberries, Gen closed her eyes as she took a sip. The blackberries and violets were embraced by cocoa on her tongue. When she opened her eyes, Matt was looking at her mouth and she licked a drop of wine from her bottom lip.

Matt tasted like violets and cocoa when he kissed her outside. Gen could not explain it, but there was a point when they both could not wait to get out of the wine bar. She got up to go to the bathroom at one point, and his hand brushed her upper thigh. Gen hoped that he would follow her into the bathroom, but respected him for not following her because they were the only people there at that point.

It would have been obvious what they would be doing — it would have been likely to hear what they were doing.

But outside in the alley around the corner with his mouth on hers, Gen did not care. He kissed her neck as his hand slipped under her pencil shirt with ease tightening it about her butt as he raised it over her hips.

“You are not wearing anything,” he said and Gen nodded.

“I don’t under really tight clothes.”

She went limp as he slipped his finger inside of her. She wrapped her arms around him so she did not lose her balance, as she was flooded with the uncertain shape of her desire.

They almost did not make it to Matt’s apartment.

Gen was fully pressed against him, she could feel their desire squashed together at that moment. She looked up at him and saw that look. The unmistakable “I want you” look smeared over his face and then hers as he kissed her.

As they kissed, she caressed the surface of his face like a sculpture and he pulled her against him until it felt like they were one.

They went to his place and she stayed over, but she left before he woke up because she did not want the drama. If they were going to talk again they would and she did not need to have a possibly awkward wake up with him.

He texted her a bouquet of flowers and asked her why she did not stay before she was even back to her place.

She had a real bouquet of flowers when she met up with Duncan that night. Gen had picked the same bar for the second date, but now it seemed more intense than it needed to be. She had not expected things to go the way they had with Matt and now she was on the date that she had expected to end the way that one had.

Duncan was sexy in person and he was not all over her even after they had sexted so much. That was clearly something that was on the table, but he was reserved with her in a gentlemanly way.

She used a toothpick to pop a marinated olive into her mouth. Duncan looked at her lips. Gen had not put the olive in her mouth for that reason, but if it made him look at her mouth the way he was looking at it it was a good thing.

They watched each other eat olives. The lemon zest and garlic cloves dressing them were intoxicating, Gen could not get enough of them. Watching him eat the olives was the sexiest thing she had ever seen. And she had seen parts of his body, but watching him savor the olives was making her shift on her stool.

“This bar feels like all of our texts,” he said popping another olive into his mouth.

She gulped.

“You mean our sexts,” she smiled, watching his Adam’s apple as he swallowed. He looked into her eyes with a reciprocal smile.

“It’s nice to see you in person. Your face.”

“Just my face,” she smiled and popped another olive into her mouth. He watched her mouth and licked his lips. Gen licked the olive oil off of her bottom lip.

Duncan leaned in as if he was going to kiss her.

“Yeah, your pretty face.”

Gen liked him close, she liked everything about him as she reached for her wine to create some distance between them and he picked up his glass as well.

They clinked glasses and then entwined their arms to sip from their own glass.

The bartender looked at them, and Gen smiled.

She was going to get lucky another night, and she could not help smiling at him like her teeth were going to break.
