Chanel Brissett

Texas All-American hurdler, Chanel Brissett, won the Big 12 60-meter hurdles championship at this year's conference indoor meet. She finished third at the NCAA indoor championship meet in the 60-meter hurdles. Prior to competing at Texas, Brissett ran for USC, where in 2019 she won the PAC-12 100-meter hurdles championship. She also placed second at the 2019 NCAA outdoor championship meet in the same event. During the 2019 indoor season she became a national champion by winning the 60-meter hurdles at 7.90. She topped that time this season when she won the 60-meter hurdles at the Big 12 championships in 7.89. She also captured a national title as a member of the 2019, 1,600-meter relay winner of the NCAA indoor meet.

Brissett won her first conference title at the 2018 PAC-12 championship meet when she won the 100-meters as a freshman. She also qualified for the NCAA indoor championship in 2018. This year Brissett earned her first outdoor win as a Longhorn at the Michael Johnson Invitational on April 16, with a time of 12.85. She is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was a nine-time state champion during her high school days.

Kennedy Simon

Kennedy Simon is one of the better 400-meter runners in the NCAA. She was a runner-up at this year's Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships meet in the 400 meters, while also placing second as a member of Texas' 1,600-meter relay squad. Simon qualified for the NCAA indoor championship meet this year in both events as well. She placed eight in the 400 meters final and her 1,600-meter relay squad was ninth in the NCAA indoor final.

In 2020, Simon was victorious at the indoor conference meet in the 400 meters and 1,600-meter relay. During her freshman season in 2019, Simon qualified for the 1,600-meter relay at the NCAA indoor meet, where her team placed 10th. During the outdoor season, she was a runner-up at the Big 12 outdoor meet in the 400 meters and a conference champ in both the 400-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay. She nearly medaled at the outdoor NCAA meet in 2019, placing fourth in the 400-meter relay. Simon also competed in the 1,600-meter relay preliminary round at the 2019 NCAA championships.

Simon is from Atlanta, Georgia and is majoring in Human Dimensions of Organizations. She is a five-time All-American and was named to the 2020 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

Serenity Douglas

Another native of Atlanta, Georgia, Serenity Douglas is an eight-time All-American and was a member of the the 2019 and 2017, Big 12 outdoor championship 1,600-meter relay squads. In 2019 she was third in the 400 meters at the Big 12 outdoor meet. She got her first collegiate open 400 meters win at the Corky Classic during the 2018 indoor season. This year she got her first 200 meters victory at the Longhorn Invitational. All of her other seven collegiate victories were either in the 400-meter relay or 1,600-meter relay. Prior to her collegiate career, Douglas won the 400 meters at the 2014 National Junior Olympics.

Stacey Ann Williams

Stacey Ann Williams started her career at Texas in 2020 after transferring from Southern University at New Orleans. Williams helped Texas win the 1,600-meter relay at last year's Big 12 indoor championship meet. She also placed second in the 400 meters at the conference championship. This year, she flipped things as she won the 400 meters title and was a member of the runner-up squad in the 1,600-meter relay. She qualified for both events at this season's NCAA indoor meet, finishing ninth in the 1,600-meter relay and participating in the 400 meters prelim round. Prior to attending Texas she was an indoor and outdoor national champion on the NAIA level in the 400 meters when she competed for Southern University at New Orleans. Williams is a native of Kingston, Jamaica.
