Sean Kelly Darks

North Carolina A&T had a 14-3 season and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Freshman Sean Kelly Darks is a major reason why the Aggies had a lot of success on the court. The five-foot-eight Cincinnati, Ohio native averaged 10.5 points per game. Her highest scoring game was a 19-point performance in a win against South Carolina State. She also scored 18 points against Delaware State, where she knocked down seven-of-nine shots. In another game against South Carolina State, Darks showed that she could distribute the ball as she tallied a season high nine assists. She was also strong on defense with at least two steals in 11 games last season.

Sydney McGinley

This Michigan track and field athlete has been turning heads on social media for a few years now. In her sport she has had some success as well. She won the triple jump at the Silverston Invitational during the 2020 indoor season. Before that she won the same event at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational. During the 2019 outdoor season she was a member of the 400-meter relay squad that won at the Len Paddock Open. The Weston, Florida native was a state champ in high school for Hallandale sweeping the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles finals. She also won a state title in the 400-meter relay.

Sonya Strong

Sonya Strong is a pro wrestler out of New York City. Over her career she has won the Pro Wrestling Magic women's title and the House of Glory women's championship. Strong has also been featured in the women's wrestling promotion named Shimmer. She was shown in the women's pro wrestling documentary entitled "New Girls in Town: A Resurgence of Women's Wrestling" which has been featured on Amazon Prime since 2016. That film included current WWE superstars Shayna Baszler, Mia Yim and Ruby Riott. Strong has a growing fan base known as the Strong Army.

Kayla Thompson

A senior at Northern Kentucky, Kayla Thompson is one of the most accomplished athletes in the history of the school's women's track and field program. During her sophomore season, she won the 100-meter hurdles at the Horizon League championship meet. She also placed third in the long jump at the 2019 Horizon League championship. During the indoor season she has finished third (2018) and second (2020, 2021) in the 60-meter hurdles at the conference championships. Thompson also works as an activist with the NAACP on her school's campus. On her Instagram page she has the outstanding quote that reads, “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul” by the poet William Ernest Henley.

Khaddi Sagnia

Signed to Nike and armed with over a quarter of a million Instagram followers, Khaddi Sagnia is a long jumper out of Sweden. She is arguably the greatest women's athlete that her nation has produced over the last decade. Sagnia has won 13 combined national championships in the long jump, triple jump, 100-meter hurdles and 100-meter dash. She competed at the World Championships in 2015 where she placed seventh in the long jump. In 2018 she competed at the World Indoor Championships where she placed sixth in the long jump. At this year's European Indoor Championships Sagnia finished third in long jump competition.
