Ch. 11

Surprise!

In the text Abbey sent, she told Nate and Jasmine to be ready for the surprise of their lives. The text made Jazmine really excited for the night. So excited, that she was hurrying Nate to get ready early so they could leave already.

Jasmine was rushing because Abbey texted her asking very persistently, to make sure they got to The Exchange early. The text said she needed help setting up a surprise she had in store for Sabrina. Saying it was going to be spectacular and how she knew Sabrina would love it, but she needed a little help to pull everything off. Then she texted in very big bold letters “ PLEASE DO NOT TELL ANYONE WHAT I HAVE PLANNED, NOT EVEN NATE! THIS IS BIG!”

“It’s probably just a big bonus Jazzy! I don’t know why you trynna rush me. We been there 3 years tonight and you acting like it’s the first night!” Nate said laughing at her frustrated face, knowing she was too ready to go. He received the same text also from Abbey, but saying not to tell Jazmine so he already knew what type of time Jazmine was on cause he was excited too.

All of this commotion had Jasmine super excited as she had a couple of surprise gifts to give everyone also. The gifts she had was nothing too elaborate, just a few personal things to say how much she loved them. Little gifts to show each and everyone her appreciation of them.

She got Abbey a nice plaque for her office and a nice picture of the crew. Mr Parker, 14k gold cuff links and Sabrina an expensive bottle of wine and a pair of concert tickets to see H.E.R. For Nate she planned on really busting it open for him tonight and when he wakes up in the morning he’s going to have a brand new silver Range Rover truck waiting in the driveway for him.

Jazmine actually saw her gift weeks ago but didn’t say anything to Nate. She knew Nate thought he was just too slick, setting it under the mail like she wasn’t going to notice it. She wanted to match his fly because of it so, She set up the truck to be delivered to him in the morning. She really loves Nate and wants to show her appreciation in a big way just like he did for her.

Nate was finally ready to go and told Jazmine to meet him in the car walking out of the door abruptly before he. Jazmine wondered what all that was about but went to go get her things anyway.

“As you wish , your majesty” she said making exaggerated circles above her head insinuating large air quotes for emphasis even though Nate was already gone and couldn’t see her dramatics.

As she walked out the door and headed to the trunk that was so nicely propped open by her suddenly so bossy husband, it was to her surprise, that Nate had a beautiful bouquet of flowers all propped up with a card sitting right in the middle of them sitting in the middle of the trunk for her.

She reached for the card that was placed in the middle of the bouquet as she was about to open it, she suddenly saw Abbey’s name sprawled across the front of the envelope. She put it back, placed her things in the trunk, around “Abbey’s”bouquet and got in the car with an attitude. She side eyed Nate as he drove them to the shop. Not saying a word to him. “Don’t worry, I’m going to tell her it’s from both of us” he teased knowing damn well Jasmine was hella irritated with him.

Nate bought something for Jasmine weeks ago just for tonight. He had the gift un wrapped and hidden in plain sight sitting right on top of their nightstand. He simply placed a couple of pieces of old mail on top. He knew Jazmine wouldn’t be bothered with moving them, probably thinking he had them there for an important reason. He was going to let her keep side eyeing him until they pulled up to The Exchange. He knew once she saw his gift, her little attitude would melt away and her pussy would be extra fire tonight! That, he was sure of.
