Sukey never let her friends set her up on a blind date so she was particularly annoyed to turn up to her friend’s dinner party and find one other single male amongst a room full of couples.

“It’s just a coincidence,” Alan told her. “We invited plenty of single friends, it’s just that you two were the only two to show up.”

“You could’ve told me.” Sukey spoke through gritted teeth.

“What, and have you skip out. No way. This is Carmen’s 30th — you don’t get to skip your friends party just because you don’t want to hook up with someone.”

She sighed, and rolled her eyes, and determined she was just going to avoid the single fellow all night long.

Unfortunately he didn’t have the same idea.

“Hey.” He sidled up to her. “Name’s Caius.”

“Kye-us?” She asked with a frown.

“That’s it.” He smiled, a dimple forming in his cheek and her heart skipped beat.

Her frown deepened, and she looked away.

“And you are?” he asked.

“Taken.” She glanced at him, then back to the fellow party-goers, mingling in the room.

“Your name is taken?” Now his brow was furrowed.

“No.” She was feeling foolish now. “But I am taken. My boyfriend couldn’t make it.”

“Ah.” He gave a slight incline of his head. “We don’t have to fuck, you know.”

His blunt comment had her whirling back to face him.

“Or kiss, or even touch. But they all seem very much caught up in each other, and you and I are abandoned here at the edges, so I thought perhaps we could talk. Do you think your boyfriend would mind?”

Sukey’s face burned. “Guess not.”

“Great.” He beamed, his eyes sparkling. He was cute, though Sukey refused to acknowledge it. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck with some guy she’d never laid eyes on before, she much preferred to do the spotting, and the chasing, and, if necessary, the dumping. At least if she spotted him first she could learn a bit about him before making her move. Unlike this.

Still… he was cute. Well dressed, his shirt fitting him nicely, a slight bulge in his pants that made her cleft tingle. Maybe she could make something of this. “Tell me about yourself.”

He laughed. Not the response she was expecting. And when he spoke he did not tell her the information she was looking for.

“I like cats,” he said. “And climbing trees, and swimming at the beach, and reading mysteries.”

Sukey raised an eyebrow.

“I like adventure,” he continued. “And lying on the grass on a sunny day, soaking up the sunshine, and winter’s days spent by the fire.”

He was watching her, a laugh on his face, and Sukey wondered if he were teasing.

“Sounds like you have a lot of leisure time,” she said. “What about when you’re working?”

He shrugged. “Manager of the local supermarket. Not my dream job, but the supermarket was the only place hiring when I was a kid, and I just found myself working my way up the ranks. It pays well, and it’s not too stressful, which leaves me with enough time to really enjoy the good things in life.”

Sukey found she herself really attracted to him now. He wasn’t pretentious, he wasn’t arrogant.

“I’m Sukey,” she said, holding out her hand. “And I’m not taken.”

Caius grinned, the dimple causing Sukey’s heart to skip another beat. “I know,” he admitted. “Carmen thought we’d make a cute couple. Said all she wanted for her birthday was for me to get you talking.”

“Did she now?” Sukey shook her head. She sighed. “Look I don’t usually do this, but, do you want to find somewhere quiet?”

“Quiet?”

“Well, as you say, they’re all caught up with each other. Maybe we could be, too.”

His eye lit up. “Sure.”

Sukey grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the restaurant and up the stairs to her room. She waited until they were safely locked inside before reaching up to stroke his cheek, then pushing herself on tip-toes to press her lips against his.

“You’re beautiful,” he said, his voice a whisper.

“You’re pretty hot yourself.”

She pulled his shirt from his trousers and slid her hands up either side of his body.

“Chilly,” he said with a shudder.

“You’ll just have to warm them up.” She grinned, kissing him again.

“Oh, I will.”

He lifted her up and carried her across the room to the bed, where he dropped her with a bounce onto the mattress.

He removed her panties from beneath her skirt and she spread her legs, inviting him in, gasping when his tongue darted out to flick against her clit and then travel the length of her slit.

He was skilled. He read her body, somehow understanding that when she spread her legs she loved what he was doing, and when they involuntarily closed she didn’t like it. She barely had to speak, his fingers and tongue sending wave after wave of pleasure spiralling through her body, and soon her back was arching, her hips thrusting against his mouth as she came.

“Fuck me, Caius, now, please!”

He undressed himself first, and then her, kissing and caressing her breasts, keeping her on edge with one hand as he rolled a condom over his erection with the other.

“Are you sure you want this?” His gaze was penetrating.

“Oh, yes.”

“Certain?”

“Ah!” She groaned. “Just fuck me, please. I want to feel your dick inside me.”

Caius climbed onto the bed on top of her, his cock nudging her lower lips.

She wrapped her ankles around his thighs and tilted her hips, but he held back, leaning in to press his lips against hers.

Only when their tongues met did he press inside, his length delicious as he filled her. He supported himself on one arm as the other found her clit, his thumb rubbing it again as he thrust inside her. It didn’t take long to make her come again, and soon he was moaning her name as he came, too.

“Damn that was good.” She brushed his hair from his eyes and gazed up into his face.

“I’m glad you admitted you were single,” he said with a grin.

She laughed. “Me, too.”

“Shall we do this again?” His tone was hopefuly and she smiled.

“I’d like that, very much.”
