They arrived at the Exchange and saw Mr. Parker coming out to secure the perimeter before opening up, like he usually does every night. He smiled, which he rarely ever does, waved and continued on his way. “He looked happy” Nate said excitedly handing Jasmine a slender petite package.

Abbey walked in followed by Darius and Sabrina. Everyone was speechless walking in. Admiring the beauty and work of it all. Abbey really put in some work with the decorations and food set up. The blues, different shades of purple and glittery gold streamers that all hung from the ceiling were so pretty and accentuated all the decorations perfectly.

“Please everyone grab some food, a flute of champagne and take or go by your seats” Abbey said excitedly. “Find your envelopes for me when you all get settled”. She said again cheesing ear to ear!

Everyone was so mesmerized with the scenery, decorations, food and the excitement of the mystery envelopes that no one noticed there was an extra place setting until they all sat down with their plates ready to eat. In fact it took about fifteen minutes of small talk before anyone even brought it up.

Nate in fact was the first to ask about it with a mouth full of scrambled eggs. “ so Abbey, you really gonna sit there all this time and not say who this extra setting is for. Are we all just supposed to sit here and ignore it?” He questioned jokingly but seriously.

Yeah about that Abbey started looking Mr. Parker straight in the eyes then looking at Sabrina smiling. “We will get to that, but first can we all take a moment to peak inside of the envelopes I gave you.” She said completely ignoring Nate’s question about the extra place setting.

As Everyone took a moment to look in the envelopes, they found what looked like to be legal papers pertaining to The Exchange and papers pertaining to a change of ownership. “What’s this?” Sabrina and Mr. Parker said simultaneously.

“This, is me giving y’all legal stakes to the business. The Exchange is doing so good these days and without y’all, The Exchange wouldn’t be what it is today. I want this team to be my forever team and family, so if y’all except, please find the pens inside the envelope and sign on the dotted line to make it official. I will send it to the lawyers tomorrow” she said bouncing with excitement.

“Now that all of that is out of the way, can we please turn our attention to Sabrina, Abbey said looking her way. I have one more surprise for you. With that, Mr. Parker got up opened the door.
