The United States just celebrated its independence and the summer is hot. Back in 2019 it was just a "Hot Girl Summer" but this year everybody is hot with some of these temperatures. On Instagram, many of our favorite athletes and entertainers are bringing the heat as they drop the hottest posts showing off the best summer bods on the planet.

Kirsten "KK" Deans

A 5-8 point guard out of Greensboro, North Carolina, Kirsten Deans was one of the most improved players in the country during her sophomore season at West Virginia. Her scoring average improved from 5.4 as a freshman to 13.7 points per game during the 2020-21 season. She also improved as a shooter. Deans drained 47.5 percent of her shots compared to just 33.8 as a freshman. She also improved with a three-point percentage of 43.8, which was higher than her 27.3 clip as a rookie. From the free-throw line she shot a very good 80.8 percent which was up from 71.2 percent during the 2019-20 season.

Deans scored double figures in all but four games in her second season. She scored a season best 30 points in a road win over Texas. In that game she shot 12-19 overall, 3-6 from three and 3-3 from the free-throw line. Deans also posted seven rebounds and two blocks that night. Her season high in assists was nine which she collected twice, in victories over TCU and Kansas State.

When it came to the defensive side of the court, Deans was arguably the star of her team. She posted a season best six steals against Kansas State. She swiped three steals in a game on two other occasions.

In an NCAA Tournament win against Lehigh, Deans scored 19 points with eight rebounds, five assists and three steals. She shot 7-10.

Domonique Turner

The Tennessee sprinter and hurdler finished her career this year at Tennessee with some successful moments. She placed second at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic in the 100-meter hurdles. Turner also had runner-up finishes in the 100-meter hurdles at the Clark Wood Invitational and Tennessee Challenge.

In 2020 she placed third in the 60-meter hurdles at the SEC Indoor Championships. That season Turner grabbed wins at the Texas Tech Invitational, Virginia Tech Invitational and the Indiana vs Tennessee Duals.

During her sophomore season in 2019, Turner qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 100-meter dash, where she competed in the prelims.

Faith Ross

Kentucky hurdler Faith Ross was arguably the most productive athlete in the school's women's track and field program. She qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the 100-meter hurdles, the 400-meter hurdles and the 1,600-meter relay. She placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA championship meet.

Last season was the second time that she qualified for the NCAA meet in all of those events as she did the same thing in 2019. During the indoor season Ross competed in the 60-meter hurdles and 1,600-meter relay at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. As a freshman she competed at the NCAA indoor and outdoor championships in the 1,600-meter relay back in 2018.

N'dea Jones

At Texas A&M N'dea Jones shined at power forward as a senior. She averaged 12 points and 10.2 rebounds during the 2020-21 season. The 6-2 talent, pulled down a season best 18 rebounds twice during the season. Her best scoring night came in a win over Lamar when she posted 25 points. She blocked a season high four shots in a narrow two-point win over Iowa State. Jones collected five steals in a road win over Auburn where she also scored 23 points. Her success led to her being drafted by the WNBA's Seattle Storm.
