Being punched in the face daily by the Evening News, by our lying- sack-0-shit political leaders, going from Covid paranoia straight into well-planned race riots-- any sane human begins to believe the world has not only lost it's sense of humor, but also any basis for rational thought and the capacity to enjoy anything at all. The remaining sane humans continue to go about their lives, have sex with each other, and laugh at funny things, and laugh at the entire bizarre spectacle of famous people with the biggest mouths, the swells, the well-educated people mouths flapping in the wind, wringing their pathetic useless hands, and using millions of dollars of media time to shove idiotic ideas down our throats ever single day. The House. The Senate.

The is not just a U.S problem, it seems to be a problem in all nations. Small groups of people with tons of money and specific social and political agendas work us over every day, in every possible way--- to convince us of this or that fictional view of reality. As a filmmaker, I understand creating fictional realities-- all my films are sexual fantasy fiction, and I never pretend anyone should actually live like my fictional characters. I create entertainment FOR FUN, as a relief from the mountains of streaming-shit the LOUD and RICH virtue signaling morons fling at us.

At sixty years old, I have lived through, and listened to non-stop streams of nonsense, always from a small group of people, convinced they know what is best for all 360 million citizens of the United States of America, and eager to push those agendas. The agendas change from one decade to the next, but the core fact remains--- the loudest and best-financed agendas are the ones we get on the Evening News, and even in most Hollywood and independent films. In the 70s, 80s, and even into the 90s some print publishers were still able to reach a large audience through alternative books and magazines. There is no longer any viable way to communicate alternative ideas--- because our search engines will not get us there. There is so much nonsense, and few paying audiences for honest and accurate descriptions of reality. The paying audience wants the high-energy fantasies, and no longer cares for accurate ideas, ideas consistent with the daily reality of our lives.

It makes me laugh to watch a video of President Gerald Ford holding up an issue Grove Press Review in the 1970s, telling Americans that print pornography and smut writers like William Burroughs, Henry Miller and others were going to destroy the moral fabric of our Great County! All our current internet porn reaches hundreds of millions of people, more people than any printed porn every hoped to reach.

That is not what destroys a society or a civilization. Complete and constant disconnect with reality is what destroys a society or a civilization. And that is exactly what we have with most of our elected leaders, and corporate CEOS, and tenured university professors, and the wealthy people who try to define our lives with their own short-sighted fantasies.

As I said, this is nothing new. I have seen the faces and the agendas change every decade, and sometimes more often, over the past 50 years. The best thing I can think to do is ignore the bullshit, even when it is pervasive and loud, and frankly terrifying, because the bullshit is relentless. I wake up aching for at least a few ounces of sane thought coming from my TV. I wonder what is means, when the most sane person I hear in public is the comedian Lewis Black. Really? That's it? That is all the higher education and artistic genius of America has to offer in the area of sane public discourse?

The best course is to invent my own hallucinatory discourse, as a counter-balance, as an UNAUTHORIZED form of art, bending to no virtue-signaling etiquette, and no trendy view of society, economics, politics or religion. My horny, beautiful nuns fuck the convent gardener, then break with the Church and become Wiccans. They love beings spanked by older men. They love sexual fun, with boys and with each other. Their philosophy is more useful than anything on the Evening News.
