This drink combines rich dark coffee and vanilla ice cream. This is a wonderful adult milkshake. The richness of the coffee and the thick vanilla ice cream are a match made in heaven.
What is a Frosted Coffee?
A frosted coffee is the perfect combination of vanilla ice cream and coffee. It is similar to a coffee milkshake. You could swap out the vanilla ice cream for chocolate ice cream if you desired.
Ideally, you will need to use coffee that is at room temperature to make a frosted coffee. Hot coffee will melt the ice cream. So don’t use hot coffee. You may want to use cold brew coffee, but again, make sure it’s room temperature coffee.
When you make your frosted coffee at home, you could use either decaf coffee or regular coffee. To make this recipe you will need about 1/2 cup or 4 ounces of coffee.

You can make this ice cream special drink in no time at all. You mix this up quickly in a blender.
If you don’t happen to have a blender you can mix up the Chick Fil A Frosted coffee by placing the ice cream after it has softened slightly and the coffee into a clean glass jar and giving it a good shake.
You can put a dollop of whipped cream on top if you like.
