Celeb Fun

part 516

By Forest GreenPublished 18 days ago 3 min read

The bass thrummed a deep, insistent rhythm through the floorboards, vibrating up through my shoes and into my very bones. The air in the club was thick with the scent of sweat, spilled cocktails, and something else, something electric and charged. And then there was Holly.

She was dancing, truly dancing, in front of me, lost in the music. Her hips moved with an almost hypnotic undulation, a slow, deliberate grind that was both innocent and outrageously provocative. Her eyes were closed, a small smile playing on her lips, and her long, dark hair whipped around her shoulders like a living thing.

My shirt, already damp from the oppressive heat, felt like it was shrinking. I tried to focus on anything else – the kaleidoscope of flashing lights, the blurred faces in the crowd, the ridiculous price of my drink – but my gaze kept snapping back to her. Each sway of her body was a direct assault on my composure, a deliberate, if unconscious, taunt. I could feel the familiar, undeniable stir of arousal, a persistent throb beneath the waistband of my jeans.

I clenched my jaw, took a deep, shaky breath, and told myself, Don't be an idiot. She's just dancing. But "just dancing" felt like an understatement, a cruel misrepresentation of the elemental force that was Holly in this moment. She was a siren, and I was utterly, beautifully, completely snared.

And then, I did the thing I swore I wouldn't. My hands, seemingly independent of my brain, reached out. They found the soft curve of her hips, fitting perfectly into the hollows of her waist. The moment my palms made contact, a jolt, hot and thrilling, shot through me. She opened her eyes, startled for a fraction of a second, and then a slow, knowing smirk spread across her face.

Without breaking her rhythm, she leaned back, letting the heat of her lower back press against me. The message was clear, undeniable. My struggle to keep it down, already a losing battle, evaporated entirely. With a groan I didn't even try to stifle, I allowed my body to follow hers, my hips moving in the same primal rhythm, a silent, unspoken conversation in the heart of the throbbing club. The music, the crowd, the entire world outside of us, faded into an indistinct hum. There was only Holly, her intoxicating movement, and the exquisite agony of our shared rhythm. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

A gasp caught in my throat as she pulled me forward, the soft fabric of her dress brushing my cheek. Her lips met mine with an intensity that stole the breath from my lungs. It wasn't tentative, not a question, but a statement – bold, undeniable, and utterly intoxicating.

My hands instinctively went to her waist, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss. Her mouth was soft, tasting of the Cabernet she’d been sipping and something uniquely Holly – a mix of confidence and underlying sweetness. The world around us, the clinking glasses, the muted conversations, the saxophone’s wail, all faded into a distant echo. There was only the press of her body against mine, the electric current that coursed between us, and the sudden, exhilarating realization that this was happening. After years of simmering glances and almost-touches, the dam had finally broken.

When she finally pulled back, a faint flush high on her cheekbones, her eyes, usually so guarded, held a raw, shimmering vulnerability I’d never seen before. She didn't say a word as she slowly turned, her crimson silk swaying around her. Then, over her shoulder, her voice, a low murmur that cut through the lingering haze, was laced with an undeniable command.

"Follow me."

The words hung in the air, a silent dare, a thrilling promise. I didn't hesitate. My drink was forgotten, my jacket slung over the back of my chair, I pushed to my feet. I followed the sway of her hips, a potent mix of anticipation and disbelief warring within me.
