Celeb Fun

part 302

The shimmering asphalt stretched endlessly, a mirage of heat rising from the Central Valley floor. My van, a lovingly converted Sprinter with solar panels humming above and an espresso machine gurgling within, was an oasis in the 120-degree inferno. Air conditioning purred, a stark contrast to the oppressive outside world, as I hummed along to some vintage soul. Then, a figure on the shoulder, a lone silhouette against the blinding sun, caught my eye.

As I drew closer, slowing the van, she began to wave, a desperate, elegant gesture. My foot instinctively went for the brake. No way. As I pulled alongside, the setting sun, a fiery disc on the horizon, cast a golden halo around her. There was no mistaking those striking features, the cascade of honey-toned hair, the undeniable allure. It was Jennifer Lopez, standing by a sleek, but clearly defunct, luxury SUV.

"Oh my God," she breathed, her voice a little husky with relief, "You're an angel." Her eyes, a startling shade of hazel, met mine with an intensity that made my breath catch. She was dressed in what looked like designer linen, now clinging damply to her incredible curves. Even in distress, she was breathtaking.

"Need a lift?" I managed, my voice a little rougher than I intended.

A grateful smile lit up her face, a radiant beam that seemed to defy the heat. "More than you know. My driver, well, let's just say his air conditioning didn't fare as well as yours, and neither did the engine." She gestured vaguely back at the lifeless vehicle. "He's gone to find help. But I've been out here for hours."

"Get in," I said, opening the passenger door. The blast of cold air must have been a godsend as she slid onto the leather seat, a sigh of pure contentment escaping her lips. The scent of her perfume, a complex blend of jasmine and something musky and intoxicating, filled the small space.

"Thank you, truly," she said, turning to face me fully. Her gaze lingered, a curious, appraising look. "I'm Jennifer, as you probably figured out."

"Max," I replied, extending a hand she took readily. Her skin was incredibly soft, her grip surprisingly firm.

A small, knowing smile played on her lips. "Max. Even better. So, this is quite the setup you have here, Max. A van conversion? On this road, of all places?" Her eyes sparkled with a blend of curiosity and something undeniably flirtatious. The heat, the isolation, the sheer unlikelihood of the moment – it all created an electric charge in the air, a sense of limitless possibility on the endless road. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues, I knew this August night was about to become anything but ordinary.

“Seriously, Max,” she said, her voice a low, husky rumble, “it was always the ass.”

I didn't need to feign surprise; I know enough of Hollywood’s underbelly to know Jennifer wasn't exaggerating. But the bluntness, the casual way Jennifer owned her past, still had a way of cutting through the usual industry bullshit.

“When I was just starting out, I spent some time on them,” Jennifer continued, her gaze drifting to the neon glow bleeding through the window. “The casting couches, the private meetings, the ‘let’s just get to know each other better’ dinners. But, you know what? The directors or whoever, they weren’t after my pussy. Oh no. The moment I turned to leave, the moment they saw me from behind, that’s when their eyes would narrow, that’s when they’d get that look.”

She took a slow sip, the amber liquid catching the light. “They wanted to fuck me in my ass, Max. Every single one of them. Like it was some kind of secret, unspoken agreement among them. The ‘true’ prize, I suppose.” A wry, almost bitter smile touched her lips. “The sign that you were really theirs.”
