The scent of sea salt still lingered in the air, a heady reminder of the previous night's abandon. Sunlight, thick and golden, streamed through the louvered shutters, painting stripes across the crisp white sheets. Mark stirred, groaning softly as he stretched, his body pleasantly sore from the exertion. He turned to find Christina propped on one elbow, her usually serene face contorted into an expression of theatrical displeasure.
Her voice, sharp as a freshly chipped coconut, cut through the morning languor. "I'm very angry with you," she snapped. "You made a sticky mess all over his face last night. Please explain yourself."
Mark's heart did a little lurch. He knew exactly what she was referring to. A flush crept up his neck, a mix of genuine embarrassment and a sudden surge of heat recalling the moment itself. He loved her playful indignation, even when it was directed at him. He swallowed, trying to compose himself, his eyes dancing mischievously. He did not want her to see him flustered.
"I'm sorry, Christina," he began, his voice a low rumble, "but I heard that cumming is for people. I had to get rid of it somehow and seeing your pretty face lying there, so utterly captivating in the moonlight, I thought that I would do you a favour. The sunshine and humidity in a place like this is very good for us, his love."
He watched her carefully, a bead of perspiration tracing a path down his temple, betraying his nervousness. The corner of her mouth, usually so precise, twitched. Her eyes, which had been narrowed in mock fury, softened, a flicker of amusement replacing the indignation. He held his breath, waiting for the verdict.
A beat of silence stretched between them, punctuated only by the distant caw of a tropical bird. Then, slowly, a smile bloomed on her face, starting small and spreading like the sunrise across the horizon. It was a wicked, knowing smile, one that promised both forgiveness and future mischief. She leaned in, her gaze raking over his bare chest.
"You really do have an explanation for everything, don't you, you rogue?" she murmured, her voice now a purr, entirely devoid of anger. She ran a single, exploratory finger down his cheek, then dipped it lightly into the corner of her own mouth, tasting the lingering evidence. Her eyes widened slightly. "And a very nourishing explanation at that."
She chuckled, a rich, throaty sound that vibrated through him. "Well, since you're so concerned about his complexion, perhaps you should apply a fresh coat this morning. For optimal results, of course." Her eyes, sparkling with renewed desire, held him. The implicit invitation was unmistakable. Mark grinned, the last vestiges of his feigned shame melting away. He reached for her, pulling her close, the tropical heat outside suddenly paling in comparison to the one building between them.
The humid air hung thick and heavy, a suffocating blanket in the ramshackle hut. Outside, the cacophony of the jungle was a constant, unsettling drumbeat – chirps, howls, and the distant, guttural roars of creatures unseen. Inside, the flickering lamplight cast long, dancing shadows, making the cramped space feel even smaller, more oppressive. Mark, sweat beading on his brow despite the encroaching night, watched Christina meticulously repack her worn rucksack.
He’d been watching her for days, ever since their expedition had gone sideways, leaving them stranded and increasingly desperate. Christina, with her sharp intelligence and surprising resilience, had become an anchor in the chaos. And, he admitted to himself, an unwitting object of his burgeoning, primal desire.
"Just one thing, Christina," Mark said, his voice a low rumble, cutting through the insect hum. She paused, her back to him, her shoulders a tense line. "It is really difficult for me to remain aroused in a hellhole just to get hard. A little visual stimulation might be helpful. Do you mind sleeping naked with me tonight?"
