Las Vegas

By Irina LundPublished 3 years ago 7 min read

I landed in Las Vegas and was starting to feel nervous, we’ve never been alone before and we have been flirting through text a lot more. Especially since this Las Vegas trip was a sure thing. I texted him to let him know that I landed, he said he was already in Las Vegas, at a liquor store, picking up something for us to drink. Perfect, I replied in a text, I still have to get my luggage from baggage claim.

I retrieved my baggage from the carousel and got a message that William was just coming into the terminal, perfect timing. Walking out to passenger pick up, I spotted his Silver Dodge Ram rental, smiled and waved. William pulled over to the curb, got out the truck, came around and gave me a hug. The atmosphere was a little awkward, neither one of us really knew how to act. He threw my bag in the back of the truck, I jumped into the passenger seat and we started to drive out of the airport.

“This is exciting,” I said looking at him

“Yea, I’ve been looking forward to this four day for a while now” he replied

“Which hotel are we staying in, or you haven’t booked yet,” I asked

“I haven’t booked, but I thought maybe we could just pick one and see if there is any availability” he replied.

Driving down the strip, I was at an awe looking out the window. Las Vegas was so grand, and booming with life. I felt such excitement and couldn’t stop smiling looking out the window, just taking it all in.

“You know this is my first time in Vegas” I say as I look at him

“No, way” he replied with shock and excitement in his voice

“Yea, really”

“My father and I used to come here every year,” He says

“We would stay at Mandalay Bay, it is one of the best hotels on the strip and my fathers favorite, mine too,” he continued “Its that gold one” he pointed “but I don’t think we could afford a room there” he smiled

“Oh, I am not expecting or needing anything fancy.” I said

“I am just excited to be here, and to finally experience Las Vegas”

We drove the whole strip, just so I can look at it all. Once we reached Freemont Street William made a U turn and we started back towards the big Sin City lights. He told me how Freemont Street was part of old Las Vegas and the original “strip” and the suggested we try Treasure Island.

“It is one of the nicer hotels on the strip and they’re normally reasonably priced,” he says “It was also one of my favorites when I was younger, we stayed there a few times when I came with my father”. We pulled into the hotel garage, parked and walked to the lobby.

They had rooms available and they’re prices were very affordable; so we told them we will take a room for one night. The receptionist asked if we were married, and we laughed and said no. He said that we looked in love, and added a complimentary champagne bottle to our room. The room was really nice, a large king size bed, with a fluffy white comforter, a large bathroom and a view. We didn’t expect to get a view for the price, but it was a corner room with two giant windows right on the corner, with a view of the strip. We decided to dress up and go for a walk on the strip. It was a beautiful warm night, not too hot and not too cold. I wore a dress that I specifically purchased for this trip. My mother told me that Las Vegas was fancy; you have to dress up everywhere you go. We took a right on the strip from the hotel and I couldn’t stop looking around. It was so bright, so many lights, and so beautiful. I always loved cities; I was born in a pretty large city in Russia. After moving to the United States, I only lived in the suburbs area or middle of nowhere countryside. My stepfather didn’t like to be near populated areas and loved his privacy. So I really missed being in a city, a true city, with tall buildings, traffic, and nightlife.

We stopped often to take pictures, I loved to photograph everything and William didn’t seem to mind. He loved that I was like a little kid in a candy shop, and made a couple jokes about how it was cute. We stopped at the replica fountain, and then proceeded to the famous Bellagio Fountain, just in time for the water show. I watched, mesmerized by how the water danced to “Fly Me to the Moon“ by Frank Sinatra. After the water show we crossed the street and went to Paris to get dinner. It was getting late and not much was open, we ate in a restaurant on the Casino floor. It was decorated in 60s and 70s theme and had American style cuisine. On our walk back to the hotel there was hardly anyone still out. All the stores, bars, restaurants, and shops off the strip were closing down. We walked passed an older man washing the street outside his shop with a water hose. We were almost back to our hotel, maybe a block or so away, when William stopped, grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. Almost like a dance move, he then wrapped one hand around my waste, grabbing my chin with the other and kissing me. I felt like I was in a movie and I lifted one foot up as he kissed me. It was a long kiss, simple and gentleman like, he let my lips go and looked me straight in the eyes. I was swept up with emotion of love and lust; then I kissed him again. We stood there for what felt like an eternity under the streetlight, alone on the Las Vegas strip, kissing.

When we got up back to our room we could barely keep our hands off each other. That first kiss was so much more than either one of us ever expected. We opened the bottle of champagne and laughed at how the receptionist thought that we were married. William put on music and we danced around the room, sipping our champagne, laughing and kissing. After we both had a bit to drink and feeling frisky we started to touch each other and kiss more. We started to undress each other, exploring each other bodies with our hands and lips. But it didn’t lead to anything; we both ended up falling asleep naked on the bed. The next morning I woke up first, initially feeling a bit ashamed that I was naked, but then decided that it didn’t matter. I wanted him so badly, so I got out of bed, and walked around the bed and right past him to the bathroom, completely naked. I was hoping it would get his attention and make him want me; I was feeling a little frisky. I always do after a night of drinking, not sure why. I came back to the bed, and got under the sheets, a bit disappointed to see that William was still sleeping. But as soon as I got under the covers, he reached over and pulled me in and kissed my neck.

“You’re hot,” he said, and I blushed.

“I didn’t think you noticed me,” I told him.

We both fell asleep for a little bit longer, cuddling naked. I was little spoon, and William was holding me in tight.

I was awakened by William kissing my neck gently, as his hand moved from my waste and down between my legs. He started to play with me and I moaned from pleasure. Moving my legs apart, and getting on top of me. I was wet, and ready for him. That first time that he entered me, he felt big, and hard. He started out gentle, going slowly and letting me have a little more of him with every thrust. We threw the blankets off the bed so we could really see one another. I loved how he took me in with his eyes, and his hands. We switched positions many times, he could really last and I loved that. Everything we were doing felt so right and natural, I could feel that I was getting close and I told him. We finished together and he collapsed on top of me, we were both breathing heavy.

“Wow” he says, exhaling, and we both giggled.

I never felt so comfortable around someone before, it almost scared me. Usually I wouldn’t be so comfortable and would hide my body. But with him, I just felt like I could really be myself, I could be naked and not feel like I needed to cover up. I watched him get dressed, as I was getting dressed myself. Thinking to myself, what was it about him that made me so at ease, so comfortable? I couldn’t figure it out, but I liked it.
