There is a new wave of hotness in the Bollywood culture. Young, fresh and beautiful faces of the actresses, models and activists in Indian pop are taking over the Bollywood screens. Bollywood is a booming industry for these women with their dark hair, olive skin and exotic faces as they are gracing TV screens and movie screens at an increasing rate. Plus, with Indian women being some of the most beautiful in the world, it’s no surprise that women like Sakshi Pradhan, Deepika Padukone, and Kangana Ranaut are some of the biggest names in Bollywood.

The term “Bollywood” is a combination of Bombay, the former name of the city of Mumbai where the Indian film industry is based and Hollywood, the movie capital of the U.S. Bollywood is not the name for the Indian filmmaking industry, it is the name for the country’s Hindi film industry. The Bollywood market is enormous. It is the largest film market in the world in terms of both films released and tickets sold. More than four billion tickets sold each year.

Sakshi Pradhan got her celebrity start on MTV’s Splitsvilla 2. She then got even more popular after she was a participant on Big Boss Session 4. She stepped onto a movie set in 2010 when she starred in Mallika and again in 2013 when she was in Lakshmi. In addition to being a successful actress, she has gone on to model fashion and jewelry. Pradhan admits that it doesn’t take much to make her happy when it comes to what she’s looking for in a man, “such as good shoes, body language, and a good sense of humor, awesome looks and intelligence.”

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress and model. One of the most popular and highest-paid Indian celebrities, she has established a career in Hindi films, and is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards. Early in her career, Padukone gained recognition with a television commercial for the soap Liril, and modeled for various other brands and products. In 2005, she made her runway debut at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Suneet Varma, and won the “Model of the Year” award at the Kingfisher Fashion Award. Nargis Fakhri made her Bollywood film debut playing the female lead in Imtiaz Ali’s musical romantic drama Rockstar in 2011.
