Aspen's Dream Mate

A Tasty Teaser

Aspen laid in bed, his thoughts centered around the fight from earlier that day. He had heard things from other mages whom had visited the Temple of Destiny. They mentioned having visions of what the future held for them. He wondered if that was what the "test" was really about. Was it his destiny to be a vampire slayer or something? or was that only a part of it?

He still didn't understand why he felt the way he did when destroying the vampire. If he was being completely honest, he felt more than just regret at the vampire's death for some reason. He felt the same way he had felt when his parents had died ten years ago, only much worst. It almost felt as if a part of himself was missing.

A tear slowly made its way down Aspen's cheek. He roughly wiped it away, embarrassed to be crying like a baby, let alone over a person who probably wasn't even real. Unfortunately, once the flood gates had been opened, the tears just wouldn't stop no matter how hard he tried. He turned over on his side, pulled his knees up to his chest, and continued to cry silently into his pillow.

Strong, pale arms wrapped around Aspen and pulled him close. "Shhh, baby, don't cry. Everything will be okay," whispered a strange voice. Aspen turned over to see who it was. To his surprise, it appeared to be the same vampire he'd fought out on the field earlier that day. He hadn't heard anyone enter his room, but here he was, and alive no less.

The vampire smoothed the hair back from Aspen's face, and wiped the tears away. Something told Aspen that he had nothing to fear from the man. Suddenly, he realized that what those other mages had told him about seeing visions was true, because there was no way the man was alive, let alone laying there in bed with him, holding him.

"Who are you?" Aspen wanted to at least put a name with the face. He didn't want to keep thinking of him as "the vampire," even if he was just a vision.

"I am Zander." The vampire grinned mischievously. "But, you may call me Mate."

"M-Mate?" Aspen sputtered.

Zander chuckled. "I'm sure you will understand eventually, but for now, I will give you a taste of what you can look forward to."

Aspen wasn't sure what Zander meant. He got his answer a moment later as Zander claimed his lips in a gentle, yet demanding, kiss. Aspen felt Zander's tongue pressing at the seam of his lips, demanding entrance, and Aspen gladly let him in. He wrapped his arms around Zander's neck, and returned the kiss with gusto. He had never been so turned on in his life. It made much more sense now. Zander was telling him that the two of them were fated mates.

Aspen wrapped his legs around Zander's waist, and started to grind against the man's abs, relishing the friction against his aching cock. Aspen was in heaven. He wished it would never end, but he could already feel himself getting close to completion. Zander must have noticed it too, because he reached his hand between their bodies and stuck his hand inside the front of Aspen's pajama pants. He grasped Aspen's cock and started pumping his fist at a rapid pace. He leaned down and wrapped his lips around Aspen's left nipple, using his tongue to play with the nipple ring there. That was all it took to make Aspen shoot his release into Zander's hand.

Zander grabbed some tissues from the nightstand beside the bed and wiped his hand clean, then scooted behind Aspen, and wrapped his arms around Aspen's waist. "Sleep now, my love."

Aspen closed his eyes, and thought to himself, "I love you."

"I love you, too," Aspen could have sworn he heard Zander whisper in his ear as he drifted off. When he woke up the next morning, Zander was gone.
