The battle against age is pretty much ancient, and keeping in mind that there is absolutely no chance of halting it, there is far to dial it back. Sleep — You got to get those eyes shut for a while!It is essential to get between six and eight hours of sleep each night. Though your cells are constantly regenerating, your body kicks into overdrive while you’re asleep, when cell growth more than doubles compared to your awake time. Getting the proper amount of shut-eye might just be your path to healthier and more youthful-looking skin.

Put Better Things Into Your Body — A big part of maintaining youthful-looking skin starts with what you eat. When you’re eating food that contains the right kind of fatty acids and healthy oils, it can make a dramatic impact on the elasticity of your skin. Try eating a little more fish and cutting back a bit on the red meat. Also, eat more vegetables and fruits with a lot of fiber. Not only will your skin begin to appear younger, but you will also feel younger!

Train — You gotta exercise ladies! If you exercise regularly, you will feel happier, more energetic, and more confident. When you start building more toned muscle mass under your skin, your skin will appear tighter, healthier, and more radiant.

Calm down — Try to find a way to reduce the stress in your life (I know…easier said than done), but stress and worry show on your face, and it can age you beyond your years. They call those wrinkles “worry lines” for a reason. So, try stepping up your social life because having a great group of friends increases the chances that you are going to be a more outgoing, peaceful, and happy person, which shows in every way in your body.

See A Dermatologist — I am really surprised at how many women I come in contact with have never once seen a dermatologist. Just like the rest of your body, your skin needs a health check occasionally too. Visiting a dermatologist can result in finding out about issues you didn’t even know you had, and plenty of extra tips on keeping your skin healthy. Plus, it’s vital to have your skin checked for cancer on a regular basis.

Stay The Hell Out Of Tanning Beds! — I know you want that perfect golden skin tone, but nothing, and I do mean absolutely nothing, is worse for your skin than getting into a tanning bed. A recent year-long study of 100 female test subjects who used tanning beds for a year concluded that on average the participant’s skin aged 3 years in that 1-year period! You know those old ladies with dark leathery ass skin smoking two packs of Marlboro’s a day? Would you like to appear like that? Yeah, I didn’t think so. Use tanning lotions, spray tans, etc. Just stay the hell out of the tanning bed.

Use Sunscreen — This goes along with the last tip. It is absolutely imperative that you use sunscreen of at least 15 SPF every day. It doesn’t matter if it’s cloudy or sunny outside. The colder months are just as valid whether it's spring, summer, or fall.. Get into the habit of applying this youth-saving serum every day. Because, as much as the sun makes it look beautiful outside, its rays of ultra-violet light are working at making you look ugly AF.
