June 25th was an eventful day as I found myself at the hospital after indulging in a delicious, juicy watermelon earlier in the afternoon. A strange sensation arose in my stomach, prompting me to seek medical assistance. After thorough scans, the doctors made an unusual discovery—an ingested watermelon seed had somehow taken root and was sprouting inside me. While I initially wanted it removed, the medical team assured me it posed no harm as long as it was monitored. In fact, they even offered me a generous sum of money to observe the growth of this peculiar watermelon within my own body.

In the following days, I delved into a crash course on watermelons, learning that they are actually considered berries. Much like the seeds of other berries, watermelon seeds typically pass through the digestive system without causing any issues. However, in my case, my stomach became an unexpected greenhouse for nurturing watermelons. As strange as it seemed, my body somehow provided the ideal conditions for its growth. Curiosity piqued, I eagerly awaited what would unfold. According to the experts, it would take approximately 80 days for the watermelon to fully ripen within me.

As time went on, I noticed significant changes in my body. I found myself feeling surprisingly energetic and nourished with minimal food intake. Previously, I required substantial meals to feel satiated, but now, a simple vegetarian diet accompanied by copious amounts of water sufficed. It appeared that water had become my primary source of sustenance, filling me up and keeping me content. Drinking well over the recommended half gallon of water per day, I couldn't help but wonder if my intake exceeded that of an average person. Nevertheless, my overall well-being remained intact.

July 31st marked my return to the hospital for a follow-up visit. An ultrasound revealed a small, yet distinct, oval shape within my stomach. It became evident that my watermelon had taken on the contours of my own body, leaving limited space for conventional food consumption. Consequently, the doctors provided liquid vitamins to ensure my body's normal functioning. Additionally, a blood test revealed that a significant portion of my blood was now composed of watermelon juice, which amusingly made me the sweetest person on the planet, quite literally.

The subsequent weeks brought about a deeper connection with nature. As the watermelon continued to grow, I developed an uncanny ability to sense and communicate with plants. My skin, however, took on a greenish hue, prompting me to create a personal tanning salon to absorb the much-needed sunlight. Despite the perplexed reactions of onlookers, it proved to be an effective means of replenishing my energy reserves. Furthermore, the ability to absorb water through my skin surfaced as an unexpected superpower.

August 12th arrived, and my watermelon was now two months old. In just 20 days, it would reach its full maturity. The doctors remained uncertain about the subsequent events that would unfold, as my body had remarkably assimilated the watermelon as a new organ. They provided a serum to restore my skin color to normal, relieving me of the greenish tinge. Despite the weight and size of my protruding belly, I adapted to this unconventional state.

August 30th brought unfortunate circumstances as I fell ill, presumably catching a cold. Consequently, I spent the entire day under the close supervision of doctors within the hospital. My saliva took on the sweet taste of watermelon juice, and sneezing resulted in the unexpected expulsion of green seeds, exhibiting characteristics distinct from typical watermelon seeds. To my astonishment, these seeds possessed intricate vessels within them, evoking curiosity about their potential to germinate and grow watermelons.

September 5th proved to be a significant turning point as my mobility became increasingly challenging due to my burgeoning belly. To counteract this, I indulged in mud baths under UV lamps, a process that appeared to stimulate plant growth around me. Astonishingly, I could feel and communicate with these plants, even though they lacked conscious thoughts. Meanwhile, doctors avoided discussing the ongoing transformations, concealing an underlying fear that was palpable in their eyes.

September 16th arrived, and the watermelon was finally ripe. As I awoke, I realized that my belly had changed its shape, no longer resembling a round watermelon. The doctors informed me that the watermelon had fully dissolved within my body, bringing about an internal metamorphosis. I now possessed a unique ability to control plants through sheer willpower, a skill that fascinated and intrigued me. However, the enigmatic voices I had previously heard returned, growing louder and more urgent. Determined to uncover the truth, I followed the sound to a restricted area labeled "Top Secret."

With careful precision, I procured a key card from a sleeping doctor, granting me access to the hidden laboratory. Inside, I stumbled upon numerous capsules containing green, half-human, half-watermelon beings. Their telepathic pleas for assistance resonated within me, propelling me to orchestrate their liberation. The full extent of their potential and the intentions behind their creation remained unknown. Prompted by a mixture of curiosity and concern, I resolved to release them from their confines and escape this mysterious facility.

May 24th marked nearly a year since I swallowed the initial watermelon seed. Currently, I reside far away from civilization, living in harmony with nature alongside my watermelon offspring. Amidst a verdant field near a dense forest, I find solace and contentment. As I pen this potentially final message, I assure you that I am not an aspiring supervillain. Instead, I cherish the serenity this unique journey has bestowed upon me. Over and out.
