Unknown Facts About the Characters in "Jujutsu Kaisen"

1. Gojo Has A Taste For Sweets

Many people liken Gojo to Naruto's Kakashi, however there's one area where they are very different from one another. Gojo has a serious sweet tooth, but Kakashi doesn't like sweet food.

He initially increased his sugar intake in an attempt to sharpen his mind, but in the end, he developed an obsession with all things sugary.

2. The Taste of Sukuna's Fingers Is Soapy

Itadori practically consumes Sukuna's fingers, which is one of the more viscerally frightening aspects of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Itadori doesn't say what the fingers taste like, even though it's very obvious that he finds them repulsive. However, Akutami said that they tasted like soap in a Q&A for a fan book. Not quite what we were anticipating, but still unpleasant!

3. Perhaps Nanami Was a Villain

One of the most mature and considerate characters in the series is Kento Nanami, but he might not have been if Akutami had adhered to their initial plan.

Originally, Nanami was supposed to be a villain. It's unclear what his position would have been, but he would not have been the same Nanami that we know today.

4. Todo Values Good Personal Hygiene

Even though Todo doesn't appear like the kind of guy who is concerned about personal cleanliness, he takes care to shower, wear deodorant, and maintain other proper grooming practices.

It seems that his attractive scent offends and irritates his female classmates. We're not clear why this is happening; does he, like, thrust his deoderized pits in their faces?

5. Hanami Talks Inverted

It's likely that you have noticed that Hanami's voice sounds a little off. The Japanese voice actor for Hanami, Atsuko Tanaka, spoke the lines in order to create this impression.

After then, the lines were played backwards.

6. Megumi Is Completely Doubting

Megumi monitors the local news, although he seldom ever trusts what he reads.

This is presumably due to the fact that, as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, he encounters a great deal of material that the media is unable to adequately cover.

7. Akutami wishes they had given Junpei more attention.

One of the saddest aspects of Jujutsu Kaisen was Junpei's tale, particularly in the anime version when he had a few unique scenes that further developed his persona. Akutami might have included these because she thought they didn't spend quite enough time with Junpei.

I think I could have shown more of his good side if I had drawn these scenes. Since his fate was decided from the beginning, the story was influenced by that, and I ended up mostly depicting his troubled side. Sorry, Yoshino.

8. Kokichi Named Mechamaru After An Anime He Enjoys

Kokichi Muta employs Mechamaru as a stand-in since his Heavenly Restriction prevents him from leaving the house. Even though Mechamaru looks like a very obvious pick, it has a specific origin: Kokichi loves an anime that isn't titled.

Knowing that he can amuse himself while being confined is comforting.

9. Mai Zenin May Not Be Aligned

While Mai Zenin's sexual orientation has not been officially confirmed, there is a tidbit that suggests she may not be completely straight.

When Mai interacts with other female characters, according to an extra in one of the volumes, they appear to be a couple in love.

10. It didn't work out when Akutami tried drawing Noritoshi as a comedian.

When Akutami drew a sketch of Noritoshi, he attempted to make him resemble the Japanese comedian Gorgeous, but the majority of viewers believed he looked more like a member of KISS.

The manga's fifth volume included a profile on Noritoshi that disclosed this. Regretfully, the actual drawing was left out.

11. Changes in Yuta Okkotsu's Hair

It was inevitable that Yuta Okkotsu's life would alter in some way when Rika's curse was ultimately lifted because he had been bonded to the cursed spirit of his departed childhood buddy for a considerable amount of time.

Notably, Yuta's hair was altered in the character design. Akutami stated that it was only because Yuta looked too much like Toji, in response to a question about whether this was meant to signify an emotional or mental transition for Yuta.

12. Grade by Toji Fushiguro

Toji Fushiguro is without a doubt one of the most formidable characters in the JJK universe, and one might ask what grade someone with his level of strength would be awarded.

It turns out that in the realm of jujutsu, Toji does not and will never have an official grade. This is due to the fact that Toji uses Heavenly Restriction, and people who acquire their power through this method are not interested in being graded in the Jujutsu community.

13. Rika might have taken the lives of her parents.

Not only is Rika Orimoto's cursed spirit form unsettling, but there is also conjecture that she committed some evil deeds in her brief life.

Rika's mother unexpectedly passed away at the age of five from unidentified causes. She and her father went mountain climbing later in her life, and they got lost. In the end, Rika was saved by herself, but her father vanished from sight. After that, her grandmother took over her care, and she has stated that she firmly feels Rika is to blame for the passing of both of her parents.

14. Suguru Geto's Favorite Foods

Suguru Geto may not be relatable to us in many ways, but there is one aspect of him that many may find relatable: he appears to be a foodie.

He seems to enjoy them all since he is unable to choose one as his least favorite. His all-time favorite food is zaru soba, which is served on a woven bamboo plate.
