Nagasaki University

Nagasaki University is the oldest university in Japan, located in southern Nagasaki Prefecture. It was founded in 1882 as the first national university by the Meiji government. Before World War II, there were some 55,000 students at Nagasaki University. Its campus spreads over 15 hectares with 100 buildings and it has an auditorium build in 1928 which seats more than 1,400 people. One of its most notable buildings is the National Museum of Natural History designed by Kenzo Tange (1940).

Alma College

The college was founded in 1849 by Reverend John W. Norton and his wife. It was named after the biblical figure Alma. Alma College has been ranked No. 1 on the list of Best Value Colleges by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine for six consecutive years. Alma College is a very small school with a student body of just over 2,000 students. The school offers 41 undergraduate majors in which students can specialize in if they wish to go into one specific area of study or take several different ones that interest them most. Students also have the option of taking classes at nearby Michigan State University or Oakland University at no additional cost if they wish to do so

University of Aberdeen

It was founded in 1593 and is regarded as one of Europe's leading and most influential universities. The University of Aberdeen has approximately 14,000 undergraduate students, 8,000 graduate students and 6,000 research students. It is a member of the Russell Group of UK universities, the Coimbra Group and the N8 Group.

The University has two campuses: the City Campus in Old Aberdeen and the Grampian Campus in New Erskine. There are also teaching hospitals at King's College Hospital (KCH) and Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital (RAH).

The University has two official residences - King's College House for staff members who hold a post or office at King's College; St Leonard's College House for those holding positions at Edinburgh University; and Almondbury Hall for those holding positions at Dundee University.

Arizona State University

Arizona State University is a public research university located in Tempe, Arizona, United States. The campus is approximately 3.2 miles long and 1 mile wide and is located in the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is the largest of the ten public universities in the University of Arizona system and has nearly 60,000 students enrolled at any one time. ASU is also one of the largest universities in the United States by enrollment.

ASU was founded on what would have been Arizona's 122nd birthday with an endowment of $70,000 from J.P. Morgan, founder of JP Morgan & Co., who wanted to establish a school for those interested in training teachers. It opened its doors on October 1, 1905 as Tempe Normal School with an initial enrollment of 10 teachers' children. The first classes consisted of only English language study; however, science was added later and by 1907 these classes also included math and history. In 1910 Tempe Normal School became part of Arizona State Teachers College which eventually became Arizona State Teachers College at Tempe.
