To The Far away land

Take me to the faraway land, take me to the land of dreams, take me to the depths of the ocean.

Take me to the land of souls who are still living amidst the chaos and nearing death.

Take me to the land of lost souls who have given up on the desire to live and be free.

Take me to the fields of orchids who is yet to be touched. Just take me anywhere and I will survive.

The Beginning — -

Once there lived a young man in the town of Migfera which was a land separated by the rivers and land masses from the side. The man was a wandering soul who is believed to be a soldier in the European War. The man Nigel William, was supposed to die in the War. But fate had better plans for him. The man had seen his death up close when he was surveying as a piolet in the European War. He was so close to death that he felt his soul left his body. After the events of the war, he was left with only bad memories of war, he was surrounded by grief from all sides and which left him hurt and sad. His companions dying in the war made him depressed and his will to live died on that very day. After, the events of the war he was not the same man he once was. He changed. Nigel William changed. His wife Martha William once said that he became sad, delusional and the rational him was never seen again. These were her exact words.

His irrational side became more prevalent when he drove his two pups out in the rain. His son jack had to bring the pups back after he(Nigel) drove them out. Things remained the same. Nobody knew what had happened with Nigel in the European War. The family tried to ask him about his experience. But he would cry every time remembering it. So they stopped asking him about the war. The town Migfera was small but had an intact connection with its residents. So much that, everyone knew everybody & everything. Nothing was hidden from its residents. Gossips were common among the residents. Some people in his town say that he was mentally unsound or his old age was catching up to him. Nobody knew that the man they knew as Nigel was not the real Nigel. He was an imposter of this time. He was their Nigel William for others.

Nigel William during the European War had travelled back in time to the Beginning of The European War when the airbase was under repair and the opposite western forces had dropped the bomb on the airbase suddenly. And the whole unit was swept away in the bombing. Everything was destroyed. Nothing was left. He was the only person left on the base as he was supposed to die in this bombing. But he didn’t.

Since he was not from the time of 1950s rather he was from the timeline of the year 2080. He was from the future. He came to relive the memories of the forgotten souls. He was the only living survivor... It is in this bombing he gained the power of time travelling and his ageing stopped abruptly when his cells got mutated from the exposed chemicals during the bombing. He was the lone and only survivor of the war. His death was not reported in the war. And his family didn’t know of his condition. He hid stuff from his family and behaved in a way where people don’t suspect his existence. He lived his whole life like this till his wife Martha died .Nigel was with Jack till he died of pulmonary failure. It was painful for him to see his family go one by one. He left the town and moved to another city where he took up a new role and identity as William Green. He is alive and in the future.

The war began between the Western forces and European forces in which the Europeans won in the year 1956. The war continued from the 1950s and ended in 1956. There were maximum casualties reported from both sides. The relation between both nations remained strained for a long time. But the government worked to improve their relations. After a peace pact was signed in the year 1980s. The relation improved gradually. Now both the nation are on friendly terms with one another.

Now, he comes to the timeline of the 1950s to see and hope to change the events of this timeline. He comes to see Martha and Jack from time to time. And his pups who were his family. He is alone in the future. And his loved ones had died. But he has not aged much since that time. He colours his hair from time to time. Changing identities and working as a scientist in the distant future. He comes to the town of Migfera to see the family grave of his wife who he loved dearly.
