Up & down, back & forth, in countless swirls & diagonals, tracing brilliant though transient designs before his eyes, embracing them within each moment in the deep recesses of his mind.
Such a masterpiece emerging. Even if no one else ever so much as glanced its way, he would celebrate forever the wonders of this triumph.
Too bad he started at the door,
leaving himself in the corner,
waiting for paint to dry.
