The sun was setting, the night was closing in on all sides, and the surrounding area was silent. He was hungry and exhausted but still had to drag a pair of heavy legs in the direction of home, moving forward with difficulty ......

He was plain-looking, dark-skinned, and had no great achievements. But fortunately, he married a perfect woman like Ai. The two of them live a joyful, fulfilling life: taking the bus, taking the subway, visiting painting exhibitions, and picnics on weekends. Occasionally they would argue, but they soon got back together and their friendship deepened, and their friends were envious.

But the good times don't last long. Ai's sudden collapse lets him know that his wife has an incurable disease and her days are numbered. When the doctor told Ai, Ai begged the doctor again and again not to tell her husband, but she didn't know that at that moment he had already heard everything at the door of the ward. For him, it was a bolt from the blue, he felt the end of the world was coming, and he could not wait for it all to be borne by him.

He loved Ai very much and did not tell her that he already knew. He consulted the doctor and decided to let Ai spend the rest of her time at home. So, in addition to going to work every day, he had to run from home, the hospital, and the office. He got up at five o'clock every day, and to keep Ai from working, he wrapped up all the household chores at home and made breakfast. Then he went to work with confidence. He spent every day "in a hurry". Even if there are 10,000 sadness in his heart, he should also squeeze out a smile to make Ai happy.

Finally, an unfortunate day came. On the day he got the bonus and wanted to make Ai happy and proud, Ai silently left, with her strong love for him. He went crazy and kept shaking Ai's body, "Ai, don't joke, wake up quickly, or I'll be angry ......" he kept consoling himself, but he knew in his heart that she was gone, and he, who never shed tears, actually shed more than one. For a moment, his mind recalls the scene of two people living together, "just holding her, accompanying her, without words, but also the wind and the sun", "his romantic enthusiasm silly to the point of no return, but took her into a wonderful trip, slowly thawed the heart after the heart, become hot "......

After that, he picked up Ai's body and ran out, straight to the purple lavender, which was Ai's favorite place in life. He gently put down Ai, the fragrance of lavender lingered in the air. His eyes were misty and his heart ached to the core.

After taking care of Ai's funeral, he came to the lavender field again. Suddenly, he vaguely saw a "paper crane" on the ground, and when he saw the words, he quickly opened it.

"Howe I knew from the beginning that you know the truth, just do not want you to have a burden, several times to see your forced smile, to make me happy in a different way, I hate myself. Don't be sad, I'm having a great time. I'm happy to have you with me, even more hardships, our love did not come easily, although I flew far away, I'm like this paper crane, will always be with you. Please forgive me for leaving without saying goodbye and living well ......

The latter words are no longer clear, it is clear that her hand is trembling when she writes, there are 10,000 in the heart that can not let go. He sobbed uncontrollably, and the whole person flung himself into the large lavender. When he woke up, the sky was already white, hungry, and exhausted, he had to drag his heavy feet and walk in the direction of home. Because he decided to live well, for the sake of this lavender "love".

The lavender is still blooming gloriously, but things are different, but his love for her is unwavering.
