The Spirit Of Temptation

They were promised the stuff of their dreams if they took this journey to deliver a box to an uncharted island. They had direction and coordidinates and they were confident and able sailors.

However as they sailed, the sky clouded over and a fret appeared over the sea. The island could still not be seen and the hours and days passed, and crew wondered if they had been tricked and if they had enough food and water to complete their journey.

They did not know if it was day or night, only that they were cold and worried they would starve before the found the island.

The sailed on, the in the mist they saw what they thought was a light ahead.

As they got closer they saw it was a ghostly beautiful girl floating above the waves and they heard the words that she spoke in their minds.

"Come with me and I will give you all that you have dreamed of, treasure, comfort, food and more"

Davy Jones' Daughter

They heard, and were seduced by temptation, and the whole crew descended into the sea. The spirit was the daughter of Davy Jones, who had been tortured and abused, then burned as a witch because she knew more than men.

She now treated men with disdain, and used her ghostly charms to steal their souls and drag them down to her father's locker, before their final desptach into the fires of Hell.

Davy Jones was the Devil and his daughter was happy to sate his need for human souls.
