Alex opened her eyes slowly and let out a small sigh of relief as she realized that she was lying on the grass beside a small pond surrounded by tall bushes. Her head ached painfully and her body felt heavy and weak. Everything around her seemed to spin around violently and her vision blurred.

She pushed herself into a sitting position and wiped the sweat off of her forehead before examining her surroundings. As soon as her eyes landed on Dean's unconscious body lying next to her, a smile crossed her face involuntarily. His hair was wet and messy, sticking to his face. Despite everything, she couldn't help but smile slightly because she remembered that he never liked being dirty, and he always made sure he took showers every single day.

"Good morning, darling," Alex murmured. When Dean's eyebrows scrunched together as if he wasn't expecting her voice, Alex laughed quietly. "Hello, sleepyhead."

As she continued talking to him, a familiar face suddenly appeared in front of her. Alex frowned in confusion as she glanced up at him.

"Hello, darling," he greeted with a wide grin.

Alex blinked a couple of times before narrowing her eyes at him. "Who are you?"

"My name is Jack, sweetheart. Don't worry, you'll remember soon enough. But for now..." he trailed off with a smirk on his face. "Let's just say that we should get up before your soon-to-be ex-boyfriend wakes up, shall we?"

With that, Jack left without another word. Alex watched him leave before turning her attention back to her boyfriend. "Dean," she whispered sadly, cupping his cheek gently, "I'm so sorry. I love you."

She leaned forward and kissed him lightly before pulling back and letting out a loud moan, which startled Dean awake. He lifted his head and blinked in confusion, looking at her blankly.

"Did I doze off for that long?" he muttered in annoyance, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

Alex shook her head. "No."

Dean glanced up, noticing the sunlight filtering through the leaves above them. Slowly, he sat up and looked around. "What happened?" he asked, frowning. "Where's Cas and Sam? I thought they said they were coming back with you."

"They did, Dean. I told them I'll wait here for you."

"Well, where are they then? And what happened?"

"They left. They went to fetch something from the bunker." She bit her lip nervously. "But they are not back yet. Where could they possibly have gone?"

Suddenly, Dean jumped up. "Maybe he went somewhere!"

Alex stared incredulously at Dean, confused. "Why would he do that?"

Dean nodded "Yeah."

Alex shrugged her shoulders looking away guiltily. She was about to ask Dean yet another question creeping up in her mind when Cas' voice interrupted her train of thought.

"Hey, guys are you ready to continue our investigation?' Cas asked.

They both turned towards him and smiled in response. They stood up and brushed themselves off. "Sure," Dean smiled, stretching his hand out for Alex.

After grabbing Dean's hand, the four of them started walking toward the hospital. As they passed by an elderly couple, the woman's lips curled upwards in an almost sickening smile, and she winked at Dean with a smirk. The woman raised her eyebrows suggestively at Dean as if asking 'you want this, before walking away.

Dean blushed lightly and cleared his throat

loudly, trying to ignore the lady. He turned as his cheeks started burning redder. He saw Cas

laughing silently and he shot him a glare. Cas suddenly stopped in his tracks when he

heard a sudden noise behind him. Turning around, he gasped when he saw someone coming their way, their expression unreadable.

It was the man from earlier, Jack.
