----------------------------------------------------------

INT. KANDER'S ROOM- MORNING

Kander is dressed in a luxurious white and blue wedding suit. He is staring into the mirror, composing his excitement. Haelo is not in the room, getting dressed somewhere else.

He hears a knock on his door.

KANDER: (Looks at the door.) Enter.

His mother and brother walk in. Fiera looks as excited as ever, while Kander sees his brother smiling. His mother hugs him.

FIERA: Today is the big day! Marrying the love of your life is the best.

KANDER: Definitely.

FIERA: (Gestures towards Quaive.) Someday, Quaive will get married. I hope before his dad dies.

QUAIVE: I am happy without a girlfriend, Mom.

[Beat.]

FIERA: How did I spawn two opposite sons?

QUAIVE: (Points to Kander.) Demon spawn and (Points to himself.) angel spawn?

Kander rolls his eyes.

FIERA: (Shakes head.) No. You are the pain-in-the-butt spawn, while Kander is my seeking-my-early-retirement spawn.

KANDER: (Baffled.) None of them sound good at all.

FIERA: (Shrugs her shoulders.) An early retirement doesn't sound bad. Quaive makes my hair turn gray, and I'm an angel.

QUAIVE: (Looks to see any gray hair on Fiera.) Mom, you need to check your eyes because I see no gray hair or wrinkles on you. I think my hair will turn gray before you, and I am half-angel and NOT eternal!

FIERA: (Examines Kander's wedding suit.) You look delightful as ever, Kander! You will look even more beautiful with the cape and crown on your head right after the wedding.

KANDER: Indeed.

CUT TO:

INT. CHURCH- DAY. THE PLACE IS PACKED, FULL OF ROYAL GUESTS, WEALTHY PEOPLE, AND THE NEWS. ONLY THOSE WITH MEDIA COVERAGE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE CAMERAS. THE WEDDING IS BEING BROADCAST ALL OVER THE WORLD. KANDER'S FAMILY IS IN THE CENTRAL FRONT ROW.

Kander and Haelo are standing at the altar, holding hands and facing each other. Haelo is also dressed in white with a veil pulled back into her hair. The bishop is behind them.

BISHOP: I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.

They kiss. The church goes loud with claps and cheers.

CUT TO:

INT. THE THRONE ROOM- DAY

Kander and Haelo stand on opposite sides of the throne room. The silver carpet will help guide Kander on where to walk. Fiera, Quaive, and Eris are on their thrones. Guards block the guests from the silver carpet.

Eris gets up from his throne and starts walking to Kander. Meanwhile, Maelilere pushes the cart in front of Kander. Haelo smirks, believing she doesn't have to worry about doing this.

Kander picks up the torch and globe. He takes a deep breath, staying calm.

Eris is now in front of Kander.

ERIS: (Whispers.) Prince Kander, turn on the torch now.

Kander uses his magic to light the golden torch. The crowd "oooos." Eris nods.

ERIS (CONT'D): I, [your full name], from this point forward-

KANDER: I, Kander Kye Drearwood, from this point forward-

ERIS: -will lead the Kingdom of Tremis with great prosperity, loyalty, and dignity.

KANDER: -will lead the Kingdom of Tremis with great prosperity, loyalty, and dignity.

ERIS: And will teach the future successors the same honor and triumph.

KANDER: And will teach the future successors the same honor and triumph.

[Beat.]

Eris' eyes move to the globe, noticing it's turning gray, which had never done that before with Eris when he became king. Haelophes also noticed it, but she kept her smile the same. Eris raises his shoulders, puffing out his chest.

ERIS: I'm pleased to announce Kander and Haelophes as King and Queen of Tremis!

The crowd cheers. The bishop crowns each of them from behind. He crowns Kander first, followed by Haelophes. A white cape with light blue edges is placed on Kander's shoulders.

He turns off the fire and places the items back in the cart. He finally notices the grayness inside the globe. He starts to feel concerned, fearing what he might become.

KANDER (V.O.): Will I be a bad king?

Haelo grabbing his hand makes him snap out of it. They slowly make their way to the thrones. Fiera stands up and gives both of them a hug.

FIERA: (Whispering to Haelo.) Seat is warmed up for you.

Haelo nods with a smile before they sit down in the king and queen seats. Kander looks to Quaive, who is zoning out, not used to the amount of people. The crowd claps more.

CUT TO:

INT. THE BALLROOM- NIGHT

Music blares as royals and important guests dance on the floor. Kander and Haelo are dancing the night away. Kander keeps looking into Haelo's eyes, watching closely if they change, but they are normal.

The music is close to ending, so Kander spins and dips Haelo without dropping her. Haelo winks that he has pulled it off successfully as the music stops.

HAELO: (Flirty.) Nicely done, Kander.

Kander winks as he pulls her up.

Meanwhile, Quaive stands alone, not wanting to dance with anyone despite the girls asking him. If he doesn't know them, he will not feel comfortable.

Fiera walks up to Quiave.

FIERA: I think it's time to practice your aura reading; therefore, you can pick someone to dance with without worrying. It's just for one night, Quaive.

QUAIVE: (Shakes his head.) No thanks, mom. I am okay with dancing alone.

FIERA: Still, try reading auras.

Quaive sighs before he focuses on his aura reading. A multitude of energies overwhelm Quaive's mind. He sharply inhales, trying not to have a panic attack. He can only pick up on energies, but not directly who they belong to. He looks around. First, pick up compassion, sweetness, strictness, and arrogance. Everything looks colorful with all these auras. He doesn't know who these traits belong to. He looks at where Haelo and Kander are dancing. He inhales again, feeling chills and turning pale. He is sensing vengeance and malicious intent.

Fiera sees Quaive becoming more uneasy.

FIERA (CONT'D): You sense something bad. Point to me where it is.

He points to where Kander is.

QUAIVE: Someone over there. I need help finding who it is.

Fiera looks in that area. She relies on her hearing. The section can be heard more clearly while the rest are blurred out. She doesn't listen to guests talking maliciously. They sound like they are having a good time, including Haelo and Kander.

FIERA: No one is talking bad, but it doesn't mean someone is not hiding it.

QUAIVE: Can you use one of your powers to help locate bodies of evil?

FIERA: I can't detect evil that way. Not even demons. I can only physically search and destroy. This is why your power is futile. If you train it, you will finally see who the person is, even with many people around.

QUAIVE: Yeah...

FIERA: It better not be Kander. I saw the globe turn gray fog while he was holding it.

QUAIVE: I saw that too. Is it possible someone bad can affect the globe despite Kander being the only one holding it?

FIERA: No. The saying goes, ‘If the globe is clear, the king is a cheer. If the globe is gray, the king will be in pain. If the globe turns black, the empire will no longer be intact.’

[Long pause.]

QUAIVE: Then, someone is going to hurt Kander. (Clenches fists.)

FIERA: It can also mean his rule as king might damage him emotionally, physically, or mentally.

QUAIVE: No... I feel someone is going to hurt Kander very soon. I feel they are ready within the walls. We must pay extra attention tonight, but we should not worry the guests.

Fiera doesn't say anything, agreeing with Quaive.
