The Old Man Of The Sea

The Old Man of The Sea was a grotesque legend, or was he. Sailors seemed to know him and warned others about him, although they sais it was not human or animal.

The tales they told was that it would find people in the water and climb on their backs and drag them down into the murky depths where they would have to carry it. The host would not drown, it kept them alive but sapped their blood like a vampire, until they eventually expired leaving a carcass of skin and bone of the sea floor.

Then it would drift up, near to the surface looking for more prey.

It you are taken by The Old Man Of The Sea, there is no escape, you belong to it as long as you live.

So when you go swimming or sailing, make sure you are always with a friend, The Old Man Of The Sea preys on those that are alone.

No one knows what it is, because anyone who gets close, is taken and devoured.
