Once upon a time, in a beautiful village located between hills and forests but in the county of Elmswood, there resided a young girl by the name of Lily. As for the female protagonist, she was quite a curious and adventurous woman who enjoyed life and its moments in every possible way. But her days were interesting as she was free to wander around in the meadows, climb trees and listen to the stories narrated by the elderly people in the village. However, there was one of the stories that intrigued her more than the other—the story of the lost heirloom.

The heirloom was a piece of jewelry, precisely, a locket that was designed in the most elegant way possible, with a touch of magic to it. It had been in Lily’s family for generations; from mother to her daughter. It was said that whoever possessed the locket would have a life full of luck and wealth. It was a long time ago but one day it vanished and no one has since been able to locate it.

It was another bright day and after a while, as Lily was sitting on the porch with her grandmother she decided to repeat her question.

“Grandma, do you know anything about the missing heirloom?” Lily asked meekly with the curiosity filled eyes.

Her grandmother smiled and the look in her eyes was like she was reminiscing something. “You know, the heirloom was the most beautiful thing that you could ever come across in your entire life; a gold piece of jewel with a sapphire in the middle and signifying the royal heritage of our family. It has not been seen for a long time, people can no longer even remember when they saw it last. ”

“Do you think it could be there,” Lily proclaimed, as she continued her investigation.

“No one knows, dear. It is said that it has been lost somewhere but it’s nearby. Perhaps one day, a young man with a clean intention and extremely sensitive perception will stumble upon it. ”

Having read Lily’s mind, her grandmother left her with something to think about. She thought the power to identify the location of the heirloom and also get it back to her family was on her.

Thus the next morning Lily went for her mission. She took a small bag with some food, notebook, and a magnifying glass, which is always helpful for every detectives. Flick began her hunt in the attic, where she began sifting through old trunks and decaying boxes. One can only hope to find old letters, photographs, and other small items such as the locket that the two characters were desperately searching for throughout the film.

When she realized that she didn’t find the key inside she decided to go and look outside, in the garden. She searched every flower blossom, turned over every rock, and even swung herself up into the branches of the old oak in the rear. But it was after all this and still there was no sign of the heirloom.

Lily was tired of trying to fight against the flow and so as the night crept in, she sat on the grass, her spirit broken. She For a moment, she glanced around, attempting to come up with any place that she probably overlooked. Her gaze went to the outer boundary of that thicket and it dawned on her. This raises the question, what if the locket was hidden there?

Forcing herself hard, Lily strode into the jungle, this time with a new spirit. The branches of the trees formed a canopy overhead giving a play of shadows of the ground while the twittering of the birds and the sound of leaves could be heard. Lily got deeper into the forest, her eyes searching every corner of the forest for any trace of an animal.

Finally, Lily was able to find a break in the trees and see a tiny, secret garden. There stood a great big tree at the very heart of the glade with gnarled roots growing out of the huge trunk. There was just something mysterious about the tree, as though it was a sentry for a hidden truth.

Lily moved closer to the tree and was picking at one of its roots. Feeling a thrill of excitement, she saw a tiny space carved into the tree at the base of the trunk. Her heart pounded with elicitation as she reached in side. He touched her hand and his fingers traced a cold hard surface she had unknowingly grabbed. Gently, she slid it out.

And there, in her hands, was the missing heirloom which she had thought had been lost forever. The chains of the locket were made of gold and the middle part of the locket contained a beautiful sapphire. For a moment, Lily could hardly believe it was really her she was seeing. She had done it! This must have been why she was so caught up with the hidden treasure, the precious heirloom.

Still elated, Lily returned to the village with a choke hold on the locket. She entered her grandmother’s house in a hurry, her joy reflected by her excited look on her face.

The prospect of discovering the heirloom made her’s heart flutter, and with keen excitement she shouted to the grandma, “Grandma, look! I found it! I found the heirloom!”

Lily seen the surprise and disbelief in her grandmother’s eyes when she handed the locket to her. “Oh, dear, you are surely a special girl for you brought back the family’s treasure. ”

The rumor of the discovery of the girl known as Lily made the rounds in the village swiftly. Of course everyone rejoiced and smiled because the precious heirloom was found again after a long time. To celebrate the joyous occasion that was, that evening the villagers came to Lily’s home. There was cheerful music in the background as people danced and laughed with each other as they admired the pretty locket.

Lily was still dancing when the old woman, her grandmother she realized beckoned her over and pressed something cold into her hand – a locket. “This is yours now, Lily. You shown what you’re capable of, becoming a brave woman, the same as those who came before you. Wear it with pride and you should always know that the magic that resides in you is phenomenal. ”

Lily’s joy was reflected on her face, as she wiped tears which had formed in her eyes after receiving the locket. She put with it around the neck and felt like a warm comforter moved to the side of her neck. She knew it was not just an accessory she was going to wear; it was the love deposited in her by her ancestors.

So, for several subsequent weeks, Lily never took off the locket on her neck regardless of where she went. And indeed they did, it ultimately helped her to find happiness in her life, as it was prophesized by their legends. The girl did not cease to go further exploring the world around, which was interesting for her, and she very much wanted to know everything. Every time she gazed at the locket, she was taken down memory lane and revisited the enchanting journey that had resulted in her discovering the necklace.

Years later when she has grown up and has her children of her own she will take her time to tell them about the missing heirloom. She would look at the sparkles of joy and interest that the children would bring that was similar to her childhood days. And she would smile, knowing that the heirloom would always go on to generate the same relief and wonder in different generations of the family.

Elmswood was always considered a village of mystery and enchantment, for rolling hills and vast beautiful forest and the tale of the dauntless little girl who recovered the lost article. And so the legend was etched deep and became a part of folklore memories of all those who dared to listen it.
