"The missing friend "

"Sania wake up, it's time to go to college" Sania's mother yelled in the kitchen while cooking. Sania struggled to get up from the bed still feeling sleepy.It is the start of the new semester after a week of holliday, so she finally woke up and ran to the bathroom to wash herself.

Then she quickly ate the breakfast prepared by her mom and rushed to the door . She has to go and pick up her friend Jessica and go to college.

"Hey, Jessi, are you ready? " Sania called Jessi to come out of her house. "Wait, I am coming! " Jessi ran outside and hopped on the scooter behind sania.

"Go quickly we are late" Jessi urged sania. Soon they arrived at their college.

Sania and Jessica were friends in college who came from completely different backgrounds. Sania was from a small town in India, and Jessica was from a big city in the United States.

At first, they struggled to find common ground, as their cultural differences made it difficult for them to relate to each other. Sania was reserved and conservative, while Jessica was outgoing and liberal.

But as they spent more time together, they began to learn from each other and appreciate their differences. Sania taught Jessica about her culture and traditions, and Jessica showed Sania how to be more open-minded and adventurous.

They took classes together, studied for exams together, and even travelled together during school breaks. They became each other's support system and confidants, and their friendship grew stronger with each passing day.



One evening, as Sania and Jessica were sitting in their dorm room, Jessica seemed upset. Sania could tell that something was bothering her.

"What's going on, Jessica?" Sania asked.

Jessica sighed and said, "I just broke up with my boyfriend. We've been together for almost two years, but things just weren't working out. I'm really sad about it."

Sania could see the pain in Jessica's eyes and knew that she needed someone to talk to. "I'm here for you, Jessica. You can talk to me about anything," Sania said.

Jessica opened up to Sania about her relationship, sharing both the good and bad moments. She talked about how she felt lost and alone now that the relationship was over. Sania listened attentively, offering words of comfort and support.

"I know it hurts right now, Jessica, but everything will be okay. You're strong and resilient, and you'll get through this," Sania said.

Jessica felt a sense of relief after talking to Sania. She realised that she had a friend who cared about her and was there for her during her time of need.

After one week, when Sania was just eating dinner , her phone rang. She answered the call and it's Jessica's mother whose voice sounded anxiously "Sania, do you know where Jessica is now? "

" No aunty i don't know. Isn't she supposed to be at home right now? What happened aunty? " Then her mom told her that Jessica came home after college and went out immediately after 10 minutes, and told that she would return in an hour. But she didn't return till now and also not answering her phone.

Sania became anxious and told Jessica's mom not to worry that she will find her then hang up the phone.
Sania contacted their other common friends and asked about her but no one knew where Jessica went.
Just then Sania thought back to their last conversation and remembered that Jessica had mentioned receiving a message from her ex-boyfriend, asking her to come to their place. Sania immediately shared this information with her mother and Jessica's mother.

Sania knows which place they used to go when they date, so she quickly went to that place. On the way she called Jessica's ex boyfriend and asked him about her.
But he replied that he didn't know anything and his mobile was stolen that afternoon.
On hearing that suddenly Sania became nervous, then who messaged her to come there? After 5 minutes she arrived at the destination.
But there is no one there. She walked shouting Jessica's name but no one answered her. But behind the tree a shadow running could be seen.
She runs chasing the shadow and finds out that it was a man and she knows him very well.
He is a boy in their class, who is quiet and nerdy. She didn't understand why he is here and why he runs away like that? And what is his relationship with Jessica? Why did he message her to come here? While thinking she glanced sideways and found Jessica lying there with a knife stricken in her body full of blood.
She screamed frightened and during this time the boy suddenly grabbed another knife who knows where it come from and rushed towards her she quickly covered her face with her hands and screamed when a light passed in her vision
Then she quickly woke up from her bed and saw Jessica standing in front of her bed"Sania, what happened?"Jessica asked worriedly. Sania quickly realised that as a dream and hugged Jessica tightly with happiness "so you are alive thank god it was just a dream".
Just when she was sighing with relief Jessica said" Sania my ex boyfriend messaged me to come to our place and that he wants to speak to me, what should i do? "
Sania"..... Don't go"..........
