The last window to the outside world

The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. It was a small, dirty window, but it was the only one in the entire city that wasn't covered in black paint. She had heard rumors about the outside, about a world where the sky was blue and the grass was green. But she couldn't believe it. How could anything be so different from the grey, polluted city she lived in?

She had never seen the sun before. It was always hidden behind the thick clouds of smog that hovered over the city. But on some days, if she squinted hard enough, she could see a faint glow behind the clouds. It was on one of those days that she first saw the window.

She was walking through the empty streets, trying to avoid the patrollers who roamed the city looking for anyone who dared to defy the government. She had heard that they were planning to shut off the last window to the outside world, and she couldn't let that happen. She had to see it for herself, even if it was just a glimpse.

As she turned a corner, she saw a small building that looked different from the others. It was slightly taller and it had a red door. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should risk it. But the curiosity was too strong, and she decided to take a closer look.

She walked up to the door and pushed it open. It was a simple room, with a small bed in the corner and a desk with a chair. But it was the window that caught her attention. It was dirty and covered in cobwebs, but it was still the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.

She walked up to it and pressed her face against the glass. The outside world was just as she had heard it was. The sky was a deep blue, and the grass was a bright green. She saw trees and flowers, and even animals running around. It was like a dream.

She couldn't believe it. This was the world she had always dreamed of. She had to see more. She had to find a way to get out of the city and into this beautiful world.

She turned around to leave the room, but she was stopped by a voice. "Who are you?"

She turned around and saw a boy standing in the doorway. He looked about her age, with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. He was dressed in ragged clothes, but he had a determined look on his face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I just wanted to see the outside world," she said, trying to explain herself.

The boy nodded. "I know how you feel. I've been trying to find a way out of this city for years. But it's impossible. The government won't let anyone leave. They want to keep us all trapped here."

She felt a spark of hope. "But you said you've been trying to find a way out. Have you made any progress?"

The boy hesitated. "I've found a way to get out of the city, but it's risky. And I don't know what's beyond the city. But I'm willing to take the risk if it means a chance at a better life."

She nodded. "I'm willing to take the risk too. I can't stay here any longer. I have to see more of the world."

The boy smiled. "Then let's do it. We'll leave tonight, when the patrollers are sleeping. It's our only chance."

She nodded, feeling a mixture of excitement
