The Last Dragon;

Jeffery lived in a small village at the base of a great mountain range, and he had always been fascinated by the stories of dragons that lived in the mountains. He had heard tales of their great power and intelligence, and he longed to see one for himself.

The dragon was about to attack Jeffery, but something in the boy's eyes made it hesitate.
