It was a cold and dark night in the small town of Ravenwood. The wind was howling through the trees and the old abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town looked especially eerie. The mansion had been empty for years, but the townspeople whispered stories of strange happenings and unexplained sightings inside its walls. It was said to be haunted by the ghosts of those who had died in the house, and most people avoided it at all costs.

But not everyone was afraid. A group of teenagers, looking for a thrill, decided to break into the mansion and explore its secrets. They had heard stories of a treasure hidden somewhere within its walls, and they were determined to find it.

The group consisted of four friends: Tom, Sarah, John, and Emily. They had grown up together and were known around town for their daring exploits. They were convinced that they could handle anything the old mansion could throw at them.

As they approached the mansion, they could feel their hearts pounding with excitement and fear. The front door was locked, but they found an open window and climbed inside. The inside of the mansion was even more frightening than the outside. It was dark and dusty, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and strange shadows flickering on the walls.

As they explored the mansion, they came across a room that was different from the others. The walls were covered in dark tapestries, and the room was filled with old furniture and antiques. In the center of the room, there was an old woman sitting in a rocking chair. She had long white hair and wore a black dress that looked like it was from another era.

"Who are you?" Tom asked, trying to hide his fear.

The old woman looked up at him with piercing blue eyes. "I am the owner of this house," she said in a cold voice.

The group was shocked. They had always assumed that the mansion was abandoned. "What are you doing here?" Sarah asked.

The old woman smiled, revealing a row of yellow teeth. "I live here," she said. "And I don't take kindly to trespassers."

The group tried to back away, but the old woman stood up and blocked their path. Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind them, and they realized they were trapped.

The old woman began to cackle, and her eyes glowed with an unearthly light. "You should never have come here," she said. "This house is cursed, and all who enter it are doomed to suffer."

The group tried to run, but the old woman was too fast. She chased them through the mansion, laughing maniacally all the while. They could hear her voice echoing through the halls, taunting them and promising to make them suffer.

Finally, they came to a room that was filled with strange objects. There were jars filled with strange liquids, and strange symbols etched into the walls. The old woman stood in the center of the room, holding a large knife in her hand.

"You should have stayed away," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "Now you'll never leave."

Suddenly, the room began to shake, and the objects on the shelves started to rattle. The old woman's eyes glowed brighter, and the group could see the spirits of those who had died in the house swirling around her.

The group tried to fight back, but the old woman was too powerful. One by one, they fell to her blade. The old woman cackled with delight as she watched their blood spill onto the floor.

Finally, the old woman stood alone in the room, surrounded by the bodies of the teenagers. She smiled, knowing that she had finally fulfilled the curse of the mansion. She had lured them in, and now their spirits would be trapped within its walls forever.

But as she turned to leave the room, she heard a strange noise coming from one of the jars on the shelf. It was a low, rhythmic humming, and it seemed to be getting louder by the second. The old woman approached the jar, and as she did, she could feel a strange energy emanating from it.

Suddenly, the jar exploded, and a bright light filled the room. The old woman was thrown back by the force of the blast, and when she opened her eyes, she found herself lying on the floor, surrounded by the shattered remains of the jar.

But something was different. The air in the room had changed, and the spirits of the teenagers were gone. The old woman stood up, and as she did, she realized that she was no longer alone. Standing in front of her was a ghostly figure, its eyes glowing with a bright light.

The old woman gasped in horror as she realized what had happened. The curse of the mansion had been broken, but at a terrible cost. The spirits of the teenagers had been set free, but now she was trapped in the house, forever haunted by their ghosts.

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, the old woman became more and more isolated. She could feel the presence of the teenagers all around her, and their ghosts seemed to be getting stronger with each passing day. She tried to leave the mansion, but she found that she was unable to. The doors were locked, and the windows were sealed shut.

The old woman began to lose her mind, and she spent her days wandering the halls of the mansion, talking to the ghosts of the teenagers. She would often hear their voices whispering in her ear, taunting her and reminding her of the terrible crime she had committed.

And so, the old woman remained in the mansion, haunted by the ghosts of those she had murdered. Her once-grand home had become a prison, and she was trapped within its walls forever. The townspeople whispered stories of the haunted mansion, and no one dared to venture near it again. The old woman's curse had become a legend, a cautionary tale of the dangers of greed and obsession.
