The Fairy Oak

At night in the woods, beware. If you go alone and find yourself at the Fairy Oak at midnight, the fairies come out and dance around their ancient tree.

The tree is their protector, and they protect the tree. It is tall and strong, and takes its nourishment from the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. But if the fairies see you as a threat, they will beguile you to come to the tree, and the Fairy Oak will take your blood, your flesh and your soul, for its nourishment.

If you visit during the day, you will see that much of the Fairy Oak's bark is tinged with a reddish brown, which is from the blood of those who did not heed the warnings.

So take care, and beware the Fairy Oak in the midnight hour.
