Are you ready to let him in?

That sickly ghost of fuming despair burning deep in iris oceans, sinking beneath the waves of evergreen hatred fueled by this curse of generations once thought buried by the passage of suns and births.

Can you let the monster out?

That thing bubbling underneath layers of flesh pushing against vein and sinew, threatening to disintegrate all that you are and might ever be had this ancient omen not taken hold.

Is there an ending to this?

This torture of an elder kind, raging like a fiery tempest ready to consume all in its path if only to find refuge in a familiar smile.

Would you curse the world to find that solace again?

This spooky season I am joining in on some fun community challenges! For this one, the goal is to use the bingo board to create a shape out of the prompts.

A fun tidbit: every single spooky story is going to come from one of my fictional worlds. This one is for my FATE OF FIRE project ( more than 10 years in the making! ), which you can find other work for in my catalogue.

If you'd like to join in on the fun, check out Marie Sinadjan's challenge below!
