“What would bears be without bees? Ears?” Was my opening joke. I got moans. Usually that joke got a few more laughes. “Why did the chicken cross the road?” I asked to what sounded like boos. “Sorry, my next joke will be better, I promise,” I said. The moans and boos got louder. “Lights,” I said. The lights turned on, exposing an audience that was full of zombies. They weren’t booing, which boosted my ego, but saying brains. They were now crawling on stage to eat me, and I had nowhere to go. “You guys have been great!” I said.
