Eve sat staring down at the locket that she held in her hands. She looked at the picture of her mother and father inside the worn heart-shaped metal edges of the locket. "I wish they would have listened to me. But there wasn't enough time to convince them" she thought. She pictured how her mother would laugh at her jokes. She remembered back to when things were normal. When she had all of her family and friends. Before the Ascension.

Eve glanced off into the horizon overlooking the flourishing, rolling hills and bowing Evergreens. Everywhere she looked she saw nature in its most beautiful form. A drop of dew hit her shoulder. She looked up into the sun and let it warm her face. She closed her eyes and wished she could enjoy this peace, this state of mind, this state of being with the family and friends she used to know. What torment to have loved and lived among the distracted, only to outlive them and reap all the benefits which were ultimately awaiting us, but alone.

Since she had a superiorly grounded core, she felt at peace normally. This torment was only emphasized when she would stare into the locket she held in her hands. When Eve would let herself get lost in the thoughts of the past.

Eve knew better. Years of mindful thinking had taught Eve how to cope with any unfavorable event that had come her way. Nonetheless, on this day she allowed herself to drift off into her memories. For there was no place for Eve to be, in her present state of being where time does not exist. And therefore, there was always time.

She drifted into a deep meditative state as she pictured her mother smiling back at her. And her grandmother fixing some sandwiches at the stove, swearing under her breath after she dropped the cheese. Smoke hissed as the bread sizzled. "Shit I burnt the bread!" grandma said fiercely as if she had just lost some cooking competition. Then dinner was ready.

The best sandwiches I ever had, Eve thought.

Her grandmother was the sweetest person Eve knew. Always ready to help and she always had what you might need on hand. Her favorite pasttime, however, was watching the news on the television. She would sit for hours every day. She would listen to the media present politician after politician in whatever fashion was best suited for the political party. In a world where presidents were tweeting, and TV stations were grossly partial, the common person was ingesting information through the television and radio which was tailored by the media on a daily basis.

Just before the Ascension, many of the human population were seeking equality among all races of people on earth. But daily acts of violence and anger, along with a general unspoken tolerance for acts of brutality committed against certain races proved that inequality was still a current issue. Feelings of anger, confusion, and fear were at an all time high, making it an especially crucial time for people to stay grounded.

Hints of the inevitable Ascension were evident in online forums. Some individuals were speaking truths about how soon a time would come where there would be a shift. A shift from the 3D world. Much of the population at this time, the distracted, or those living on auto-pilot, and whose focus had gone entirely towards the issues going on in the media, would often consider these hints "crazy talk".

But the Ascension to the fifth dimension was approaching. Those who had taken the time in their lives to form a strong spiritual connection were naturally prepared to be leaders. Just before the Ascension, messages from one spiritual healer to another rang out on the internet.

"You'll know what to do when the time comes."

When it happened every person who was mentally prepared stayed firm and grounded. And with the help of this shift, they created their own reality in an instant. A shift that had been a long time coming. Decades of coded messages and failed attempts to reach the common person.

It happened quickly. As riots and mass shootings were becoming the norm, many people didn't even notice the shift occurring. But as with any shift of this kind, those who are not ready to ascend fall quickly through the cracks, with little time to get their bearings. Nor the mental ability to comprehend it.

Many of the distracted thought that the shift unfolding was merely the events that the media had been predicting. Their immediate reactions laced with spoon-fed, preconceived notions. Causing many people to panic in large numbers. The onlookers of this national panic and chaos; desensitized.

But those grounded by spiritual awareness did not panic. As a whole, from locations all over the world, they called upon their own strength and general faith that day to sustain a grounded dimension of peace and equality.

In Fort Smith, Arkansas a young woman knelt down in the grass, where she would often go to be in touch with nature. There was a horrid feeling in the air. The television was reporting more deaths and violence in a single day than was ever reported to date. Every station was booming with breaking news stories. Most people sat glued to their chairs, staring at the unfolding chaos in disbelief.

In Mumbai, India a gentleman caught the ferry with only one minute to spare. "You just made it. This will be the last one. The ferries, street markets, and theatres are all closed so you best go straight home," said the Captain.

As the gentleman boarded the last ferry he saw specs of color in the horizon. As the ferry got closer to the fields he could see that the specs were people, all spaced apart. They did not move. "What's going on?" the gentleman asked.

"There's more killings going on right now than in World War II. Something is wrong with this world," the Captain said, taking a sip of water from his flask.

Normally it would have taken a months' time for the human population to die out. But we shifted through the 4th dimension of time in the blink of an eye. And those who were grounded by self awareness and their spiritual faith suddenly remained in the fifth dimension. Where Eve now sat.

In this dimension you will find only those who are at the highest level of self awareness. And as a result you will find only gestures and vibrations of positivity. It is realized that one has only to seek within themselves to solve any conflict they might be facing. During the Ascension every person who was mentally prepared for this kind of shift stayed strong, vigilant, and grounded. They closed their eyes and pictured that the world would be okay. Regardless of its current state.

Eve felt the tiny feet of a beetle crawl across the top of her hand. She looked down at the beetle and lifted her hand to make a bridge for it to cross onto a nearby leaf. She wondered if it had been separated from its family too.

That must be one enlightened beetle to be here in this dimension, Eve thought to herself.

Will there be another chance for my family to get here? Eve wondered, as she closed the locket, held it tightly in her hands, and gazed at the sun.
