“Something changed in me that day,” Jason replied to the reporter’s query as to why he donated half his life savings to the local food bank.
“It was that man,” he continued.
“The same man I brushed aside and swore on when I was too busy to stop, and too condescending to care.”
“When I ran into the street after the accident, he spoke to me. He begged me to give his possessions to his friend, George.”
“I saw the kindness in his dying eyes, and I realized that he was a far better man than I.”
