The Plan for the Diamond
It took months of planning. I finally snuck into the museum to steal the diamond. Right before I grabbed it, alarms blared. The lights went on and a man with a microphone came up to me. “Congratulations, you’re the hundredth person to try to steal it this month,” he said. “Is this a game show? Did I win?” I asked. “Yes. The diamond is fake, but your prize is a lifetime in the museum?” He said. “What?” I asked. The walls came down and bars came up. It was a trap. “Keep the diamond,” he said, smiled and left me.

It Came From the Lake
I was sitting on the doc next to my girlfriend. We were holding hands. We saw ripples in the water. Then splashing. “What’s that?” Emma said. “I don’t know,” I said. A large dinosaur that looked like Loch Ness breached the surface. “Run,” I shouted. The dinosaur chased us through the woods. It eventually grabbed Emma. “No, don’t eat Emma,” I screamed. “Can I eat you, instead,” it asked. “You can talk,” I asked. “Yes, why wouldn’t I be able to talk,” it asked. I asked so many questions it eventually fell asleep and dropped Emma. We slowly snuck off.

The Bribe
I got pulled over. The officer knocked on my window. I rolled it down. “I saw what you did,” he said. “I know what you want,” I said, reaching in my pocket to hand him cash. “Have a good day, sir,” he said and left. He came to my house every week for a year demanding more money. One day I shouted “I’m sick of paying you,” and slammed him with a shovel, then buried him. Later that night, there was a knock at my door. My neighbor pointed a gun at me and said “I saw what you did.”
