Short Story
Breaking News
For longtime anchorwoman Regina Aston, this ongoing story was quite gripping, but it increased her stock on the network. That was the last thing she had on her mind, as her only focus was on preparing herself to report the incoming developments on this continuing story, which involved the shocking murder of a woman named Natalie Becker, who was found stabbed to death inside her home a week prior.

The Man Who Never Existed
James Carter had always been a creature of routine. Every morning, he took his coffee black, read the news, and left for work at precisely 8:15 AM. His colleagues called him predictable. His wife, before she left, had called him boring. But James preferred "consistent." It kept his world in order.

That One Time I Found a Life-Changing Book by Accident
Okay, so picture this: I’m deep into one of my least glamorous tasks—doing keyword research for Amazon. I’m tired, I’m scrolling, and my brain is about as inspired as a blank Word doc. Then, out of nowhere, this title pops up like it knows me personally: Hearts Run from Broken Lies: A Journey Through the Labyrinths of Truth.

Dream of the Wolf
“No one wants to eat a human! They are sacred animals,” the wolf said gravely. Selphie had never heard an animal talk before and to hear the wolf explain in such eloquent language the philosophies and privileges of being a wolf was frankly astonishing.

MIDNIGHT MAGIC - ch 8
MIDNIGHT MAGIC – ch 8 Julie (*)(*)(*) It was at that point, Ian gulped the rest of his Hennessey and reached for the bottle. “Anyone else want another shot? What I just drank was to calm the shock of everything we’ve just learned and now, the second? For pride and celebration!! I have a daughter!”

Dorothy
Susan didn’t quite know what to think when she heard about something called the Shop of Horrors. It could be grotesque. Blood, guts, vital organs. Or creepy. Snakes, rats, maggots. Either way, the squat, pale yellow building on the right side of the road as she traveled north on Route 153 didn’t look too inviting. Somehow, it looked less like a place she wanted to stop in the daytime than at night. At least the broken neon sign that sputtered lights around the words Shop of Horrors in an uneven square were a jolly pink color.

The life and times of the Ento Gang Episode 1
The gang sat on their repulsor bikes overlooking the open desert. Their buddy Jin-To was under the light rail setting up thermite, Jonathan Macarthur watched him setting the charges and grumbled, “Who let an off-worlder handle the explosives?”. The larger man among them grunted, “When he proved he had the setups for this.” This man's name was Ento. He was known for this exact heist. Eventually, the light rail train raced toward the junction and Jin-To was seen scrambling on his bike to avoid its automated turrets. As it drove the crossroads Ento smacked the detonator setting off the thermite and melting the steel. Then the charges blew, throwing train sections and pieces of rail here and there. The men rode into the fray. They knew the section which sat at 13 of the 25 sections now lying on its side. Jin-To came riding up and dropped from his bike clumsily, “Careful you damned fool!” barked Jonathan, “Gonna set off your own damned bomb.” Jin-To cursed quietly as he went to work, cutting into the steel and ceramic door, “Cartel don’t want us in here.” the offworlder laughed. As it opened Jonathon and Ento drew their pistols letting off streaks of yellow energy into the security bots that burst out, throwing Jin-To off the cart.

The Final Frequency: When the Radio Calls Your Name:
In the quiet town of Hollow’s End, where the only excitement after sundown is the flicker of neon signs and the occasional raccoon raid, Nightfall Radio reigns supreme. Hosted by the velvet-voiced DJ Silas Crowe, the show is a nightly ritual—a mix of melancholic jazz, conspiracy theories, and call-in stories from listeners. But lately, the airwaves have turned sinister. A strange pattern emerges: a name whispered between tracks, a burst of ear-splitting static, and then… silence. Not just on the radio, but in the world. Because whoever hears their name vanishes.
