UPDATE: The hotel laundry that runs itself after midnight
Hey everyone, It’s been about a week since my last post. I honestly didn’t plan on updating — I thought maybe I’d just scared myself too much, or imagined half of it. But things have gotten worse. Way worse.

That Unfettered Desire
My evening started when an axe swung down on me. The axe had almost taken my face, half my skull, and certainly my brain with it. It had been wielded by no hands that were human. A learned man might say it was perhaps gravity that beset that axe upon me. To which I would ask: how has gravity moved the hatchet that I used to chop firewood this morning above the door outside my parlor? My explanation is backed up by months of observation. You see, when I moved into this mansion three months ago, many a selcouth occurrence had befallen me.

The Crack in the Door
The Crack in the Door It started with a crack in the door, a thin line of light cutting the hallway in two. He thought I was away for the night, out with the girls, a plan that had been set and quietly cancelled. A Knock at the Door - The Ones Who Came to Utopia
The night was still until the knock came. It wasn’t the kind of knock you hear on a wooden door. This one rang out metallic, hollow, like iron struck from inside. Adam froze where he stood, his friends gathered around the empty building near the parking lot.

The mirror in the Door
I hadn’t planned to stop. The hallway was quiet, the kind that hums with memory. I was just passing through—another corridor, another moment—until I saw the door. It wasn’t marked, but something about it felt familiar. The brass knob was worn smooth, and the keyhole glinted like a secret.
