Short Story
Visit to Switzerland
As I stepped off the train in Zurich, a wave of excitement washed over me. It was my first time in Switzerland, a country renowned for its stunning landscapes, pristine lakes, and towering mountains. I couldn't wait to explore every corner of this picturesque paradise. I began my journey by wandering through the charming streets of Zurich, marveling at the blend of modernity and tradition. The sound of church bells filled the air as I strolled along the Limmat River, taking in the elegant architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Next, I ventured to the breathtaking Swiss Alps, where I found myself surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush green valleys. The crisp mountain air invigorated me as I embarked on a thrilling hike through the rugged terrain. With each step, I felt a sense of awe and wonder at the sheer majesty of nature. One day, I decided to take a scenic train ride to the iconic Matterhorn, one of the most famous peaks in the Alps. As the train climbed higher and higher, the landscape became increasingly dramatic, with jagged cliffs and cascading waterfalls unfurling before my eyes. When I finally arrived at the base of the Matterhorn, I was speechless. Its towering summit seemed to pierce the sky, casting a spellbinding spell over all who beheld it. I spent hours gazing up at its majestic peak, feeling humbled by the sheer magnitude of nature's beauty. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the mountains, I realized that my first time in Switzerland had been nothing short of magical. It was a journey filled with awe, wonder, and a profound appreciation for the natural world. And as I boarded the train back to Zurich, I knew that Switzerland would always hold a special place in my heart.

The Rome Experience
The golden hues of the setting sun painted the ancient streets of Rome with a warm glow as I stepped off the train, my heart pounding with excitement. This was it—the culmination of years of dreaming and planning, my first time in the Eternal City. As I emerged from the bustling Termini station, I was immediately enveloped in the sights and sounds of Rome. The aroma of freshly baked pizza wafted through the air, mingling with the chatter of tourists and the distant strains of street musicians. I couldn't help but marvel at the timeless beauty surrounding me—the majestic Colosseum standing proudly against the skyline, the graceful arches of the Roman Forum whispering tales of ancient glory. With a sense of awe and anticipation, I set off to explore the city, each step filled with wonder and excitement. I wandered through narrow cobblestone streets, getting lost in the labyrinthine alleys of the historic center. Every corner revealed a new marvel—a hidden piazza adorned with marble statues, a charming trattoria serving up traditional Roman delicacies, a centuries-old church steeped in history and tradition. As the evening descended, I found myself standing before the magnificent Trevi Fountain, its cascading waters illuminated by the soft glow of streetlights. With a coin clutched tightly in my hand, I closed my eyes and made a wish, letting the magic of Rome wash over me. In that moment, surrounded by the timeless beauty of the Eternal City, I felt an indescribable sense of belonging—a feeling that I had finally found my place in the world. As I made my way back to my hotel, the echoes of laughter and music filled the night air, mingling with the distant strains of church bells. Rome had cast its spell upon me, weaving its magic into the very fabric of my being. And as I drifted off to sleep that night, I knew that my first time in Rome was just the beginning of a love affair that would last a lifetime. This content may violate our usage policies. Stargazing
It was her first beach party. There was something primal about it with the bonfire spitting sparks into the sky and the crackling cackle of wood burning. The sea's constant wash added to the sense of timelessness and ritual, the moon bright, sprinkling its silver shavings on the surface of the ocean so the night was imbued with magic. Drink was helping create this sense of a forbidden gathering. And the stars! The stars! Mara had never seen stars like them away from the muting of the streetlights.

Bloodthirst
I dreaded opening the package that had just been delivered to my door by a special courier. It was the third this week and the tenth this month alone. It was only the fourteenth of the month, too, so I just knew there was more to come or something terrible would happen soon, one way or another.

Short story: After I left, I went to the father and left the son
My mother warned me before she died: "unmarried pregnancy, men are big-headed pigs, do not know the height of the sky." So I made it my priority to find a father for my son, and that's when I met Fu. He said, "Come home with me and I'll give you an identity?" I'm sorry, I don't know what it means to be smart!

The Spirit Box. Content Warning.
Chapter One: Spirit Boxing I’m Detective Fred Byrne, Jr., and this is my story. I’m a detective by trade, but boxing is my true passion. I was one of the better amateur boxers at the bar down the street from the station. I boxed during fight night at The Blue Mercury bar and grill. They hosted a ‘fight night,’ every night during the week, but ‘fight week’ doesn’t sound right for marketing.
