strawberry kisses
Adoria POV Working in the bakery was a dream for me, it was so cozy and so sweet and it was mine. My bakery was covered in ingredients for my sweet treats, I ran around with flour over my apreon that has straweberry patterns all over it! Serving customers left and right I was exhausted.. and then a boquet of flowers blinded my sight, as I peered to see who was behind the boquet I saw the most perfect figure in the world, Aiden, my boyfriend. Aiden had began persuing me ever since I had opened my bakery, he'd come back often to get cakes and sandwhiches for his family and his colleuges all time, he was a boss of a massive comapny Lee-Arnault Diamonds, never in a million years I'd think he'd choose me. "For my baby and a cup of tea please" I blushed and took the flowers putting them in a vase on my counter as Aiden sat himself down. He didn't appear so sweet but he was like sugar, his tall figure, brown eyes and long hair tied back in a slick bun hid his cuteness and his friendliness the side I only saw. His parents didn't know anything about him, I'm sure they woudn't want him to marry a baker girl. "So" He said as I handed him his cup of tea as he payed me in kisses on my cheek, "I'm throwing a party tomorrow and I need you to come..I need to introduce you to my parents" I gasped I was afraid, I told him that I couldn't, they would hate me and we should just wait untill we got engaged or something but his eyes told me I had too, his parents became suspicious and wanted to know who he was dating, he coudn't hold me back anymore. I eventually closed my shop and we walked around the park, my pink dress swayed in the wind as his veiny hands gripped man, we strolled around the park and ate some cupcakes I had with me. They tasted sweet like strawberrys, Aiden always reffered my taste with strawberrys, he said I smelt and tasted like them when he'd kiss me. I blushed and giggled eating the cupcakes, we sat on a bench near by chatting as I weaved a flower crown for my prince, thinking about meeting his parents.

Underneath The Lychgate. Content Warning.
These steps feel uncertain as the Earth they cover. Attempting to remember everything I have heard about this tradition. A ritual. One that can only be activated should you trail your steps underneath the lychgate. Lifting my solemn head high, the ceiling of stone haunts me. Will this power be fulfilled with such hesitation? Trepidation and so much fear. Without breathing, I force my feet forward through the tunnel. Into the garden of re-birth and spirit.

A Re-Discovery of Hope
A shaft of sunlight caresses my cheek, the warmth making me smile as I open my eyes. “Happy Summer Solstice Day dear sun,” I murmur, my breath fogging in front of me. It might be officially summer, but the mornings could still be frosty.
